Glad I came across this video. I'd like to try this since I'm a book lover but I really have no experience with being a book narrator except way back in highschool. I also want to do WFH since I'm a full-time Mom that wants to earn. How long does the audio demo needed and what kind of CV needed? Is it The normal resume or a different one? Can you give an idea or sample. Thank you.
Hello! It's the usual resume and for the demo, it can be any book and should last 10-15 minutes. 😊

I honestly don't know which app is the best, but you can use your phone recorder naman po as long as quality microphone yung gagamitin nyo. 🙂
For the app naman, when you try to download one you can test it naman if okay talaga. Try nyo po yung Dolby On at wave editor
You can try Audacity on your laptop :)

It's a good idea to apply to this kind of job if you love reading books and if you have a quality voice. However, they just changed the hiring process and sadly, they are now only acccepting experienced applicants. I hope they accept non-experience applicants in the future again!

The resume should I submit, do you have any suggestions that I should put in my resume? I mean should it be related to experience narrating stories?
Great to hear that! About the resume/CV, it's not necessary to include related experiences but if you have any, it would be best to add those.
Tried sending a demo file and cv to them po last friday. They replied to me earlier this morning stating that they are only hiring experienced narrators 😢. Nag effort po ako mag edit ng demo file ☹ believing they don't require experience for this one. Anyhow, thank you still for sharing tips. Much appreciated

Hi, I just wanted to ask. How long did you read for the demo? Should it be an hour?
@@michidegustillo8037 Depende po sa coach/interviewer. Yung sakin po around 10 mins na demo lang. Good for 25 minutes lang po each lesson sa Bizmates, kaya if ever man na 1hr, 2 materials yun. Although, 2 years ago pa po ako nag apply kaya baka iba na now.

Hi po! Does the rate increase by time or would it stick to the same rate I set when I applied? Also, what is your suggested salary rate for someone with slight voice work experience like hosting, radio broadcasting, etc.?
Not sure with the rate/salary increase as it wasn't disclosed. Also, since you have experience, the rate you would like to get will really depend on you.
