Paragliding in Kalimpong starts from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm depending on wind conditions. Starting from top of Dello hills, we offer two types of flights -
Medium and High flights of which the landing points are different. The medium flight's lands on Homes Ground near Dr. Grahams Homes School and the High flight's lands on Relli River ground near Relli resort.
The medium flight is upto 15 to 25 mins and for High flight is about 30 to 45mins joyride.
Timing : 9:00 am to 4:30 pm (depending on weather condition)
Duration :Medium Flight (15 to 25 mins) - High flight (30 to 45 mins)
Best Time to Travel Kalimpong : The best time to travel Kalimpong is from October to March. This time the weather is pleasant and offers best view of Kanchenjungha on a sunny day.
Deolo Hill is one of the two hills between where the town of Kalimpong starts. Situated at an elevation of 1,704 meters, it’s one of the highest points of Kalimpong town. It’s located to the northeast of the main area of the town.
The main road which is the starting point is within walking distance from Deolo viewpoint. Quite hard to miss for a passerby. As you reach the hill, you will be welcomed by a fantastic garden.
