I love that you’re starting a home library for your girls as they get older! I did that as well for my boys and was so glad I hung on to the books I read as a kid ☺️
Midsummer is great! One of my favorite Shakespeares! My absolute favorite is Merchant of Venice, followed by Henry V. Anne and P&P are so good, and those copies are beautiful! Pilgrim's Progress is wonderful! NARNIA!!! Tessa Afshar is such a good writer. I really enjoyed Once Upon a Wardrobe! If I remember right, I think the only Narnia book it discusses in depth is The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. I loved Lineage of Grace! Wingfeather is so good!!!
So many books!📚 And all those cozies💜 Loved Meet Your Baker… I think I’m on book five now. And I absolutely adore the Shady Hollow series! I have yet to read My Phony Valentine as well…. don’t feel bad. Two Shakespeare plays I would recommend are Romeo and Juliet, and Cymbeline… the end of Cymbeline has one of my favorite lines that made me fall in love with Shakespeare.
Throne of glass is just so so good you have to read them all! ❤️❤️ I went to rewatch some of your old videos and I’m so sad they are gone haha 😩 but you are the cutest person ever, and your videos give such cozy vibes, I love it ☺️
I absolutely loved Tress of the Emerald Sea, I’d say go with that one first! 😍 The Shady Hollow series, Powerless, and Once Upon a Broken Heart are high on my TBR!!
Nicole Deese is indeed really good about writing stories that really matter and have deeper meaning. Youre not just reading a light and fluffy romance with her books for sure!
I’m reading my first Tessa Afshar next month! In Fields of Grace, based on Ruth. I love that she also wrote a book about the woman with the issue of blood. Can’t wait to hear your thoughts! 🥰
Denise Hunter is a hit or miss author for me. Some of her books I LOVE and others are just Ok. I love all of the Thursday Murder Club books. They are so much fun.
Denise hunter books are so good in my humble opinion. I recommend anyone who's new to her books to start with the Summer Harbor series. The first book is Falling Like Snowflakes. 😊
Shakespeare The midsummer night’s dream I read it and hope you love it one my favorites 📚📚📖📙📙🌼🩵🌼📖📚📙🫶🏻🧡❣️🌻🌻💜💘🪷🧡💙💙💓💓💕🩷💛💛💖🥀🧡🫶🏻🫶🏻🧡🧡🪷💓🌈🌈🌻❣️🧡🪷🌺🌺🌺💗💗❤️❤️💓💙💙💙🪷🌺💘🌈🌈🌈💜
I just finished Meet your baker last week and I really enjoyed it! I will definitely be continuing in the series. Cheddar off dead is on my list to get to eventually. So many books, so little time, right?! 😆 I'm currently reading the TOG series (doing one book a month) and I'm up to Queen of shadows and I'm loving it. I also really enjoyed Powerless. Eeeeeep you have the magic of lemon drop pie! It was one of my top favorite books I read last year. I think you should read it immediately! 😆 Also, it's kind of the perfect season to read it. 😊
Hi, I just recently found your channel and I just wanted to say thank you! Thank you so much for sharing Christian books and clean books, it's very refreshing to see! Also I'm not sure how old your girls are, like I said I just found your channel 😂, but they have an illustrated version of Pilgrims Progress called Little Pilgrims Progress, my daughter is 8 and she absolutely loved it and we had a lot of great discussions while reading it together! God bless and hope you have a great day!
1:52 oh boy 😂 you started out strong! Haha! I actually got back into Shakespeare this year and have been really enjoying it but I think I’d say it may be best to start with his sonnets! I can send you a link to a YT acct that breaks down the poetry and has been really helpful to me! If you want 🥰
Hi! I've been loving your videos, so thank you for all the work you put into them. I have a question and if it's too personal, feel free to tell me it's not any of my business, lol. You may have already said this in a past video, but when did you accept Jesus in your heart/life? I did it when I was 4 years old and have been serving Jesus for 42 years now, but there are definite times in my life where I feel like I've taken Him more seriously than other times. I've rededicated my life to Him several times in my life, lol. I've sinned so much in my life, but God is a loving God, and his mercy never fails. I love that He gives us unlimited chances in life no matter what we've done. Sorry, i didn't mean to preach, lol. I've just been praying before I turned on this video so I have Jesus on my mind, lol. Anyways, now to actually watch how many books you have on your tbr. Have a wonderful day, Lauren!
Hey!! Thank you so much for your kind words! So thankful you’ve been walking with Jesus for so long! God saved me when I was 10, but it’s been an up and down journey as all of us have! Recently in 2023, the Lord really changed me and pulled me closer to Himself like I’d never experienced before 💛 I have a video explaining a little bit more if you want to hear more details- it’s the first video on my channel!
I am dying to read powerless soon but I’m getting some mixed feelings about it. I used to read a lot of ya fantasy but now there are just too many many things in them that go against my convictions.
I know 🫠 I feel similarly It’s so annoying!! I wish YA could just stay YA… I feel like they are gearing it more towards 20s and even 30s instead of 14-18 ish
14:55 ok adding so many of these to my tbr! 😂 I saw cowboy for keeps and really wanted to read it but automatically assumed it was smutty 🫣😂 Also that second chance romance sounds perfect 🥹
The Masterpiece!!!!!! 🩵🩵🩵🩵

Powerless!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
SO MANY BOOKS SO LITTLE TIME! Powerless is on my "soon" list!
Once Upon A Wardrobe was my best book of 2023!!
You can never have too much of Jesus! 🙌
Your closing on the video was so sweet. Thank you for that blessing
Me, Kaitlin, and Jordan just sitting over here impatiently waiting on you to read My Phony Valentine. 🤣💕
