- Bespoke is a free, open source modular synth/DAW for Mac, Windows and Linux.
It's a bit more than a synth and feels more like a DAW to use. There is a "write audio" button to record up to 30 minutes. The exported audio should be at: /home/username/Documents/BespokeSynth/recordings
In this video, two samplers have a WAV file of synthesized sounds and the position, length and speed of the recording are modulated with LFOs.
With the LFO randomisation - a lot of sudden sounds and some subtle elements are brought in and out.
The samplers are patched to effect chains (reverb/filters etc) to blend into the mix.
Two other samplers: one with a kick drum sample triggered with two patterns which are turned on and off by LFOs to create an unpredictable rhythm. The other with a reverse reverb tail building up to a snare, which is set up to play here and there.

Exactly the kind of thing I was looking for. Thanks for outlining your process. The more or less random sample start thing was what I lacked in my usual DAW.
Interesting new way to create more noise music with this thing !
HEAVY
Nice work on this AUD !
this is awesome!
Класс!
So this is dope as hell. Question though, Is it possible to do the same thing somehow without samplers and bringing this in as you described? Is there a way to make a glitchy output like the sample and then have bespoke sample that into a buffer and do the same thing?
You can import any exported sounds you make and use the sampler to randomly select start points of it.
if you want to create a glitchy sound with bespoke - you can export that and import back into a sampler to use and trigger parts of it.
I hope that answers your question, let me know if that helps.
Dope!
How??
