Let's go for a ride in this stunning, all-original, unrestored 1937 Cadillac 75 Series Limousine...we'll ride in back as our chauffeur takes us for a spin!
Call Pat: No power steering on this baby! That steering wheel is huge to provide ample leverage to turn those big wheels way out there ahead of you on this land yacht! That's the way it was, and this was a car of extraordinary elegance and appointment!
I see, by the nut behind the wheel, that this Buick has fallen far beneath its station. Wish I could rescue it. This car needs the TLC of a loving Driver.
The "nut behind the wheel" has lived a life of untold challenge, tragedy, tenacity and courage and perseverance you could not even imagine, and obviously, a person who would make an uninformed and asinine comment like yours would have long ago withered and died on the vine of life. You could not rescue this car. Rescue yourself first.
It's obvious you, sir, who must "get a life." If you were to either read a similarly dumb earlier comment (to which I replied as below), or read my description of the video, "Let's go for a ride in this stunning, all-original, unrestored 1937 Cadillac 75 Series Limousine...we'll ride in back as our chauffeur takes us for a spin!," you will see the obvious flaw to your comment! The reference to "our chauffeur" and "us" would alert any keen reader that I, the one taking the video, am in the back seat, and so am sharing the confined interior of a car with an elderly man in the depth of the pandemic!
The real deal just love it. Just watched a video about a 1927 Cadillac limousine that had an L something or other engine put in it in Las Vegas and had been bastardized to no end which is a shame. However this one you're showing is an amazing vehicle thank you so much for sharing!
I love those old Cadillac's I think GM took more pride in those Cadillac's than the newer ones I had a Cadillac Escalade it was the worst by far that I ever owned
It's a flathead V8. It was just loaded into an enclosed trailer yesterday in Tarzana, CA, and is moving to its new home in Washington. First time in its life it will live outside of Los Angeles! Check out all the photos and info on this car (and hundreds of comments) on Bring A Trailer. bringatrailer.com/listing/1937-cadillac-75/
Gerald: I think if you take a moment to watch the video and read the caption to it "Let's go for a ride in this stunning, all-original, unrestored 1937 Cadillac 75 Series Limousine...we'll ride in back as our chauffeur takes us for a spin!," you will see the flaw to your question!
@@geraldtrice4894 Well, I guess I gotta spell it out for you. If you look at the date this was shot, you'll see we had this little thing called the COVID-19 pandemic raging throughout the world at the time. It should be obvious I'm shooting this from the back seat (which I actually stated in the caption), so A) the driver was not alone in the car B) COVID was raging and C) he's an elderly man, with high risk of acquiring the virus. Hence the mask.
Such a beautiful car. . .
1:31 Haha blowing the stop sign in second gear! That was a fun ride!

Sorry Sherlock! didn’t read all the clues, just saw the crap optic’s.
It's a free country.
@@HumberNorton Did you really think that comment deserved a reply? Some things in life just aren't worth the effort.

Pretty cool car!
Absolutely beautiful. Lovely sounding engine.
What a fantastic automobile !
Nice car. I have to say though all those speed bumps would drive me nuts.
I love those old Cadillac's I think GM took more pride in those Cadillac's than the newer ones I had a Cadillac Escalade it was the worst by far that I ever owned
Note to people annoyed by the driver wearing a mask: This video was taken at the height of the Covid Pandemic, not just yesterday!
Lovely car...but, damn! Those streets are NARROW!!
Shifts Nice , Can't You Find a Route With Less Stop & Go ( Signs ) ? Take That Mask Off ! ! !
1935 to 1940...is the best design on all cars
I've owned many.
Now working on a 37 Pontiac chopped..
I'm on it don't Rush me..
I had an unfinished '39 Buick chopped coupe that I left in Winslow, AZ.
The shifting works very smoothly.
3 spoke wheels are the shittiest steering wheels ever
Sweet ✌️
A bygone era of professional drivers or chauffeur if you like, most people who owned these cars did not neccessarily drive themselves
I have exact same car with right hand drive I.n Australia
Damn that beauty rides like my peterbilt. Hmm nice
v16 engine?

Is floor or column shift original for this car?
@@stevenhall1385 Video shows it on the floor.
Flathead V8
Nice car but why are you wearing a dust mask while driving alone?

@@HumberNorton a minor skimming error. Was the car so dusty the driver needs a dust mask?

It bounces around too much for me. I would have to get that under control! Perhaps a visit to ICON motors would be in order????
That's state-of-the-art suspension and ride quality from 1937! It's part of the relic's charm!
Can you buy one with automatic ?
They didn't have automatics in 1937. But you could retrofit one.
I've been driving 60+ years and was under the impression that STOP SIGNS meant one STOPPED!
