I watched this episode years ago when it aired on Foxtel down here in Aus, it made me cry then and it made me cry again now. No dog (or animal of any kind) should be chained up let alone with a chain thick enough to tow a truck!!! If only Tia and her family could be cloned. ❤
It’s great that Ashley reached out to Tia and Earl to help Mr. Wilson. Poor dog to have been left in such horrible conditions. I hope he gets better soon and is adopted by a loving family.
I remember this so well..I'd watched them when they were in California and that first rescue with the very special Mr Wilson who had a fantastic relationship with Earl..it was a happy and sad day when he hot his furever home..happy for Mr Wilson and a few tears for Earl..as he said that was his first rescue..🇬🇧💕✝️👏👍👌🐾🐕🇺🇸
I remember when I was 8 my neighbor had a beautiful GS pup .. I ended up moving at 10 and the Dog was always chained up outside .. never went on walks or anything , always on a 20 ft chain .. well fast forward 8 years I go and visit my old neighborhood and there he is still chained up .. broke my heart .. I ended up speaking to the owner and letting him know what I felt about the situation.. well he listened somewhat .. he ended up putting a zip line type thing where the leash was still tethered but he wud be able to run around the whole yard .. should’ve seen him .. he was so happy .. I wish I’d done more and I still regret it to this day

this is completely random, and crazy, but I've lived in 2 separate places, and we had 2 neighbors named Mr. Wilson, but my moms maiden name was Wilson too!! ❤❤❤❤I love u guys!
Is there a follow up for Mr Wilson? Did his back and front legs recover from the effects of the chain? Is he a healthy weight and more carefree now? We care and would love to see more about his physical and emotional healing.

Poor baby! I'm torn between sadness and rage! Even though the psycho, so-called owner went to prison, he still could have called someone to help the dog. I hope he gets another 25 years added to his prison sentence for abandoning Wilson would be ideal!
my dogs name was wilson lee yesterday was 2 years since i lost him after having him 11 years the dogs name being mr.wilson is so cute just reminds me of my dog 🙃
The chain isn’t the issue, chains are no different than a kennel, fence, room and so on. It’s not the chain it’s the owners. You can have a chain spot with the right conditions.
Mr. Wilson is a beautiful dog. Glad the owner went to jail. That is ridiculous. Pit Bulls need attention and love. They r the most loyal dog o have ever had.
I know a gentleman, extremely nice humble man, and he keeps 5 dog’s chained up around his property. They have a job. To protect his product he recovered from his mining claims. At first, I was appalled. But over the years I’ve watched. Everyday either he or one of his kids spends an hour playing with and loving on those dogs. Each has super cushy dog houses with heat and cooling. They get baths. They get vet care. I hate that they’re chained. The only time they get off the chains is for bathing and vet care. Two to four times a year maybe???? For no more than an hour or two???? Since they were babies???? Clearly I’m having mixed feelings about that situation BUT he does love and care for them.
It's great that that girl called for that dog since the owner is going to be away in jail for a really long time but to say that the dog was abandoned is a little bit much because the dog wasn't abandoned the owner was put in jail but I totally agree that this person shouldn't have that dog
It's not wrong to have ur dogs be outside dogs or chain them up as long as the dogs have food water and shelter also as long as they are getting attention by u and a vet
