This is a new route after gauge conversion and provides a viable alternative route to southbound traffic. Nainpur was the only exclusive narrow gauge junction station. Enjoyed the Satpura range captures. 👌
My nanaji lived in balaghat...used to love those journeys in narrow gauge...broad gauge ka safar bhi kia hai par tab sirf gondia se balaghat tak hi broad line thi....

I am from near to nainpur i used to visit oftenly when its narrow gauge we used to call [choti line] travelled jabalpur and balaghat , enjoyed so much but after the station demolished we missed trains so much, the horn of the train after the the upgrade there is not much rush compared to older junction that was the masterpiece

Thhanks there is development of this track 78 year after after independence of our country .i also salute to English people's and there's engineer's who's are made narrow gauge line that time. You can simple imagine there though, working v/s our working.
Still they made single track not double when ever this track commercials in route as it was previously again single route will struck the traffic hence not useful it was wrong planning of railway they should immediately taken up the structure work of second line so that'll most helpful to complete second line in very short period. To commercialized this route functional immediately jabalpur nagpur route
During 1996-99 period we used to visit our mother parental place balaghat via durg gondia and then used to board narrow gauge from Gondia to balaghat.
After 1999 i have never visited again.
