Love that Yasutaka is starting to remix more English songs. I'm hoping mixes like these will help him get more recognition in other parts of the world. He's so underappreciated outside of Japan!
This remix by Nakata Yasutaka and one by Jonas Blue are the only two in the Album "Stay Remixes -EP" that are arranged in a x2 faster pace and sound more like a dance music. Of two, I like Nakata's because it is very unique - although a few components are rather experimental. The more I listen to it, the more I like. Nakata is more famous for providing music to various artists like Perfume and Kyary pamyu pamyu. Nakata has his own group Capsule, but many people wrongfully think he's providing music for them. Capsule is his group. Recently he released a CD under his name, just because he wanted to have something out with his name on it.
Can't expect him to do the same thing over and over again. For anything creative you want to stretch your creative muscles or else you'll keep stagnating. His new non-YSTK branded stuff is good, though.
他のアレンジも聞いてみたけど、やっぱりヤスタカのアレンジが最高に心地良い。
上手く表現出来ないけど、これがヤスタカ節ってヤツだと思う。
