As a 52 year old conservative father and grandfather let me make this simple. You are two people who love each other more than many couples I have ever seen. It does not matter if you are two women or two men or a man and a woman. Love is not something that is scripted and it is not something that anyone else can ever decide for you. You two have a relationship that is absolutely awesome to watch in your videos. My daughter spent many years being bi, and to me something like that should never and could never affect my love for her as a parent. Each of us has to live our own lives and decide our own happiness and I wish you to the best for a long life together!❤️

    • @malelpn37

Being a conservative does not mean that I have my head shoved up my butt. We cannot choose who we love. These two are obviously and completely in love and cuter than heck. We all have done things in our lives that do not make us proper Christians. What we have to understand is that everyone deserves to love and be loved.

Moms know their kids... Even when it seems they are ignoring you they catch most of what's going on including feelings. Moms are suppose to be a special hybrid human genetically. Every once and a while that doesn't happen, but most of the time it does. My wife is amazing. Working form home with three computer screens, UA-cam playing, on one cell phone talking to our daughter who needs to vent for two hours, texting plans to baby sit our sons four year old and making plans in her head for our youngest birthday. That's called a normal Tuesday for her. She says ADD isn't a weakness, it's her superpower. Your mom just waited for you to be brave enough to say the worlds and she was likely proud as hell of you for having the strength. Cheers from PEI Canada. The best beaches in the world. Home to the singing sand.

I'm often struck by how similar coming out as gay or lesbian is to coming out as non religious when you're from a very religious family. Anytime you know there's something about you that doesn't fit with people's expectation of you, it's hard to come clean about it. Glad your families are still in the picture.

I am so happy your generation has better coming out stories than mine, and I wish you both everything in this world you desire. I grew up in the ultra conservative south, and in small towns, but i was born in the 70s. Years ago I lost my family, I am still excommunicated from all but my mom, and 2 sisters. I came out when they called you in the office, ask if you were gay, and you knew everything was on the line, your place on the team, your education, your job, your home. I find the fact that there are so many non traumatic coming out stories now to be a beautiful thing.

It’s so great that you are media savvy enough to focus on talking to the camera. People probably don’t realize or fully appreciate how hard it is to look convincingly at an inanimate object like a camera and create the amazing connections you do. It feels like you’re talking to us, and especially with the serious nature of this kind of video, that deep connection makes a huge difference. Also, you can tell that it’s not fake, because both of you also look away occasionally, which wouldn’t happen if you were using software to keep your eyes on track the whole time. Kudos to you for your originality and dedication to craft. Oh, and I agree wholeheartedly with the overwhelmingly positive comments!

I am so disappointed that coming out is still a big issue in the 21st century and still not even possible in some countries. When I was young (12ish) in the early 70s we had two men move in next door to us. My mother and father treated them exactly the same as our other neighbours, they were wonderful neighbours. When they left around 8 years later they wrote a beautiful letter to my parents, thanking them for treating them as normal neighbours and accepting them without judgement. It wasn’t until years later that I realised how different my parents were to most. Up until 1967 homosexual relations were banned in the Uk. To be accepting of two men cohabiting in the 70s would be almost unheard of. As a result I did not understand that coming out was a thing until later in life. I always wished that my youthful understanding had been the truth. That whatever people’s sexual, gender or identity preference, the declaration of it was mater of fact requiring no consideration being just a normal part of life. I think unfortunately it may only exist in Shangri-La. However one can wish for the whole world to change so no one will be persecuted for who they love or how they identify themselves.

Hey K & H, I'm a 60 y.o. who adopted my beautiful daughters as a single parent. This came about because at the time I was a Soldier fighting overseas, literally found T my 1st daughter, abandoned in a bombed out bus depot. M my 2nd daughter became friends with T & well taking her in was just the best solution for all. That's very over simplfied of course but it's doesn't matter, I love both my girls as they were my flesh & blood & support them 100% in everything. T came out to me when she was 12. I can't imagine what it was like for her but she's one of the bravest young women I've ever known! I married sometime later & my amazing wife was also very acceptant & supportive of both T & M who are both lesbians. Today my girls are married & I have 4 incredible daughters 😊. Sadly I lost my best friend & soulmate all to young, my Tams was just 47. However, 4 years on now & I'm learning to enjoy life again but point is, Love conquers all & I have dealt with many haters & lost people I no longer give a shit about because they couldn't handle the fact I love & support my girls ALWAYS. You 2 are as perfect a match as my daughters were fortunate enough to find. I wish you both nothing but the best & will support you as a sub as well & screw any of the haters, if they want to live in their sad, sheltered little corner let them, be happy, cherish what you have in each other & make the best of the healthy, happy life you have together. You two young ladies rock!

As a guy who grew up in a small close minded community through the 70s, 80s and 90s I always promised myself if I had children they would have my support no matter what. I have two young daughters and when the conversation of love comes up. I always tell them it does not matter if you love a boy or a girl. The only thing that matters is who ever they decide to love: cherishes them, honors them, treats them with respect and loves them as much as they love that person. If that person does that and makes them happy then that is all that matters to me. As a Dad I will only have an issue with a partner they choose if that partner abuses them and treats them badly.

I dated men for a while, thought I was bi, but realized I was lying to myself for a very long time. then, after my abuser left me, I came out to my mom as bi in the car and then I realized I was a lesbian. As the saying on one of her T-Shirts reads: "It's About Hearts, Not Parts"

I am a conservative man who is a father of an almost 14 year old girl. As I mentioned I am a conservative guy and if my daughter ever comes to me with "dad im a lesbian" or "dad im bi" I know what my answer will be. It will be the most neutral "ok so?" ever. I want my little girl to grow up to be a happy person, to grow up to be a loved person, to grow up to be respected for who she is. I could't care less of the gender of the individual that will make her be that person. Love, care, respect, thats all. You girls have an amazing and beautiful relationship that hopefully last forever.

It's so lovely to hear how someone is lesbian and also has mom which has wife. I didnt saw many histories like this and I thought long time that it can't be like this and now I'm so happy to see it that's im not the only one like it. Also my mom partner treat me and my gf as daughters and we her as second mom. Greeting from Poland/Germany ❤️

I was outed by my sister who is 11 years older than me when I was 16, after spending years in denial. I was a far cry from ready and my mam was blindsided. She didn't react very well and told family like I was sick. She made me hide my sexuality for the fear of losing custody of my niece and nephew, in time my mam couldn't have been prouder. Im now 29 and happily married to my partner of 10 years. In hindsight if my sister had approached me instead of staging some sort of strange intervention for shock factor then things could and would have been very different. It was a different time 10 years ago. We keep coming such a long way. Every step forward is win 😃 love to everyone struggling with their own story ❤

I find it interesting that when someone comes out you can see it in them. It’s like one of those pictures that you stare at trying to unfocus your eyes until all of a sudden you see the real image. One day people will look back at how we treat each other and think of us as ignorant savages.

I think I was about the same age. I remember thinking about what it would be like to kiss my best friends (who were girls). I think it was about 3-4 years after high school when I realized that I do in fact like girls. So I came out to my best friend as bi, which she also came out to me as bi (we never tried dating though). I’m now 26 but I still haven’t come out to my parents which is hard because they are conservative and I remember growing up with my dad making negative comments about gays and lesbians. It’s not a secret to anyone that I meet but I think I’m still scared of disappointing my parents. If, sometime in the future, I start dating another girl that I really like, that will be when I will tell them. But I know it’s going to be hard.. I love you guys so much. You’re so cute together. Thank you for telling us your coming out story. I hope to do that too some day ♥️

I grew up in a religious family and my mom never ever said anything bad about anyone in the lgbtq+ community. So I grew up not thinking that it was anything different than straight people being in a relationship. It still baffles me to this day that people are against it. I'm like no one feels this way about straight couples, why would you feel that way about same sex couples? My view point is that it is your life and your decisions. How you live your life is none of my business. Unless you are hurting someone, its none of my buisness

My biggest regret is that 'coming out' is still a thing. If one of my kids wanted to tell me this, they would likely invite their partner over to my home and introduce us. I would treat them just like any other partner my kids had chosen. I hope that someday we no longer have to talk about 'coming out' and that we just accept things as being normal.

I realized I was bisexual when I was in high school, I dated a guy while in high school who didn't go to my school, but at my school, I dated a girl that was in my class. She didn't know, but my boyfriend did know and he was okay with it. I came out to my parents when I was in the military overseas but while serving I only dated girls after the military I dated another guy briefly but mostly just played the field and ended up married to a woman who I'm still with. She knows about my sexuality, and at first, it was rough but she accepted me once she understood just because I'm bisexual doesn't mean I'll leave her for a man. Just like I wouldn't do that if I was married to a guy. We're happy now and I still consider myself bisexual even though I haven't been with a guy for 15 years.

You two are awesome (and hilarious), love your content and energy. I'm a straight guy in my 30s, and labeled as conservative based on my hobbies and lifestyle. However, you are entitled to love anyone you choose. You live your life to the fullest and as happy as you can be like anyone else. This goes for gay/bi/lesbian/straight and everything else in between. Take care of each other and be happy. I really do wish that it didn't have to be political in certain regions of the US (or anywhere in the world for that matter). Yall be yourselves and stay awesome.
Edit: just to add, I don't have kids, but if I did, I'd still accept them for who they are. As a parent, it's your number 1 priority is raising and caring for your children. Acceptance is coming. Idk when, but I try to get people to see that there's no reason to treat anyone any differently than the next. Treat others how you want to be treated. Show love, no matter how different.

My dad told me the other day that he and my brother have said to each other before that I might be bi. My dad supported me right away, my brother said that I can like and date who ever I want and no one can judge me for that. My mom got a bit upset and shocked, telling my dad that she doesn’t see me dating a girl, my dad asked her why not? Of course she can. No one else in my family knows yeath. My middle brother is gay, my mom’s cousin’s daughter is lesbian, so I’m not alone.

I find it amazing that in this day and age that we still need to have this conversation with certain people (not you two, of course). Love is love. Whatever makes you happy and doesn’t hurt others is not something to hide. I am a straight person, but I have friends and family that are not. I treat them all the same, they’re people after all. Misinterpretation of certain texts and just pure ignorance has gotten us to this point where it’s not okay to be different, the problem I have with that is even identical twins are different. There’s nothing wrong with being different because as different as we all are…there is commonality. You two are an inspiration, not just to the LGBTQ community…but to everyone. And funny thing because of that each time I would have either a speech or a presentation or a project at school I would always have that as my topic because a lot of schools people who are Gay or lesbian get bullied a lot by their fellow students or teachers which is very painful to see. He said so himself that it makes him worry about me being bullied because by always using topics people think I'm gay but I don't mind. Dear @Hailee and Kendra, I love how you're both so down to earth about you being lesbian. Being Dutch I grew up with the knowlaedge we're all equal, regardless of our sexual preferences.
I'm glad you both have supporting families, unfortunately many people don't have that which is really sad.
I experienced it in my family as well. I'm straight myself but a cousin of mine came out as gay. Some of our uncles, aunts and cousins reject him ever since. Just because he's gay... I find that really weird. Fortunately I was able to support him.
Fortunately two second cousins of mine were a lot luckier. They both came out as transgender, one male and one female. They both went "all the way" including the operation to change their sex. They've lost a few friends here and there but most people are fine with it.
I hope you both may continue being a guide for gay people who are still in the closet, making their coming out a bit easier. And all that with a bit (a lot) of humor! 😁
Keep up the good work, ladies! 😀

I’m a 60 y/o white male from the south, raised a Christian with old fashioned morals and standards. I stopped believing in a God when I was 12, I started playing guitar @ 15, played in local classic rock bands for 30+ years, did a few drugs, smoked a ton of pot. For over half my life I was single because nearly every woman I was attracted to turned out to be a lesbian. (It’s a curse) I finally found a woman that was to my liking that preferred men when I was 38.
