I was going through my old composition book and found the lyrics to his song "say hi" that I printed 4 myself last year. At the time I was in a real bad place with life and alcohol.during another dark night drinking and youtubing music on my mobile I found xiu xiu and he repulsed me! I couldn't fucking believe the garbage that I heard. I played the song a 2nd time to get over the initial shock, and I realized I was wrong.this music is gold. Its hard to stomach. Not all that is gold glitters.
this gives me a headache. not because it sounds awful, i just dont understand this at all. i LOVE darkwave, but, i just dont understand. its like, i cant tell if this is a joke or serious or if its i dont know. im so confused.

His vocals sound eerily similar to Bryan MacLean in the small part he sings on Love's "Your Mind and We Belong Together." To me, anyway.
