On hard mode and higher, you can click of the "shadow" of a paw and pick a paw that you earned in a previous playthrough. You get bonus abilities like other claws, more claws, more health, more block, etc. depending on the paw you select. The best run I had was with three paws: magnet, tentacle and harpoon claw, which means I had 3 "claws" for every fight!
glad to see i'm not the only one who didn't pick a lucky paw on their first hard run because it wasn't intuitive to click the paw. if it wasn't for watching videos on youtube of people playing it, i would've had no idea i had to click it to select one of the many paws unlocked
You can unlock Hare L. Quin by setting her free from her cage, you can exit and renter the run to keep going until you rescue her, you rescue her on floor 20.
Question: can you trigger a harpoon to fire while the harpoon is still pointing to one side or the other? Like, move the harpoon to the far right and the harpoon will swing the left because physics. Are you able to stop and trigger while the harpoon is still pointing left? How many items can you grab if you skewer things sideways like that?
I would really love to see you create a crazy powerful build like this, and try to get past level 100. Like make a 2 hour video of pure devastation... 😂

Don't worry, with Blitz the chance he didn't pick a lucky paw is definitely higher than most
I used alchemy to turn my wood shields to metal, then used whetstone, helmet and magnet claw to pull huge blocks yesterday.
It hurt me that he‘s playing a block build and didnt upgrade the body amor as soon as possible. Still enjoyable to Watch

I managed to get a lucky grab and unlocked Hare L Quinn on my second attempt.
It's just a luck thing until eventually unlocking her.
