Flippers are taking away opportunities from others and benefitting from scarcity and doing nothing of value themselves. How many extra preorders were there or people buying up dozens of cameras that would have gone to someone else waiting? Preorder sales should limit single orders until the full release of the camera honestly.
I own a Fujifilm x100v. I've bought and sold that model at least 4 times in the last two years. Resellers will sell at higher prices as long as there's a demand for it.
The eBay prices are insane I saw one scalper selling one for $18,000. Anyway I'm in no rush going to wait for my order to ship, most people will cancel their orders which moves me up the list.
@JadenWhite Ordered on the 26th with B&H 😅 I could've pre-ordered on the first hour of pre-orders, but I could not at the time. I had sold something first. Foolishly, on hindsight, I could have set it up doing payments, which I ended up doing lol. My card still hasn't been charged $1599, only the DJi Mic 2 I bought together with the camera showed up on monthly payments. Dang it lol, yep 6 months for me. Can't even pay it.
I got so lucky this guy had 4 sent to him by people in the industry and was selling them all for retail😭 he legit wanted to sell to someone who would use them.
Man I ordered it within 24hrs which I know is an eternity apparently but with BH. I’ve got no comms from them and also in no rush for the camera, it’s my tool around fun cam
In my area (Ukraine) we still haven't got a first batch and probably will not till April. And my bet is that we will get 20pcs MAX. Also, 900USD is a crazy profit, probably even more than Fujifilm itself will get excluding all the expenses:))
He either found some really dumb people, or he is not truthful. I have one, not looking to sell it, but if someone walked up gave me $2600 cash, they get the filter and extra battery too.
This is whats going on all over for cameras. Supply and demand is going to set the value.
Crazy, I got my z7II for about that price from B&H. Wouldn’t do it at scalper’s prices. Wait them out.
Yeah wait them all out
We need all the real photographers to not give in and not pay the scalpers. Stay strong 😤 prices are based on what people are willing to pay
Plenty of fake photographers to buy them.

You’ve just described the current state of affairs under our current economic system.

Yeah I’m fine with the wait! No way I’m paying a dollar over msrp 😂
Same, I wait 6 months for mine idc lol
Yeah and it’ll all be paid off by then for me! It’ll feel like a free camera at that point

$18,000?? Ha! that'll never sell, buddy needs to be more realistic
3.2k Canadian dollars x100vi on ebay right now, and one is selling it for 3.8k and another one for 4k
Yikes idk cad but sounds overpriced
on ebay here in berlin area it looks like 2200-2300€ so roughly 2500$ max
Not too crazy but damn I feel like even retail for the camera is a bit much
I got so lucky this guy had 4 sent to him by people in the industry and was selling them all for retail😭 he legit wanted to sell to someone who would use them.
Damn what a legend
Costs 1.800€ here and they go for 2.500€ easily
Here in Hong Kong they are going for 180-200% above list price from shop retailers!!! So highsteet shops not grey secondary markets!
Wow that’s terrible, that I can’t stand. Person to person I kinda get it but from shops is bad

I hate flipping so much

Crazy tempting huh, tbh I think it’s probably 80% accurate. People will over pay for hype items
