My husband and i were blessed to see him in concert a few years before he passed. That beautiful voice was just as clear and sweet as ever.
He was my late husband's favorite singer and i played this song at David's funeral. Several friends told me it was a perfect choice. Thank you ,Mr Price, for all your lovely songs.
Thank you foe being soooo kind and loving. I'm really sure he felt the same about you. May he RIP. Hang onto the memories. ❤

People now days who have only listened to what is done today, should really do themselves a favor & spend the time listening to artists from the past who actually had talent, and were such a blessing. There is no comparison.

He was the best voice and such a awesome human. Never took a dime of the song writers money. A Class act till the night he died. I was last in line to get his autograph and the theater had cleared out long before, it was a late night and snow was coming down hardl

When he says he’s worn out, I’m thinking, Oh, no. Then that first melodiously beautiful note comes out and I just sit back and let greatness wash over me!
As time goes by it becomes so clear that true talent is timeless. There is so little today that can compare to this man who was at the end of his career. RIP, the world is much less in the arena of music since your passing!

Thanks soooo much for posting this. It was very special to see him enjoying himself. I also liked when he said "you better put something else in there", about his water glass! What a special man.
@@tombeyer375 You’re welcome. I didn’t get to hear him live until he was 80. This was April 2013 and he sounded
as good as ever. I think he was 87 singing this. About a month more he’d have made 88. He died about 12/16/2013.
