Brett preached this weekend at summer ramp 1 and it was so life changing!He talked about the shame of a lady being killed,because she was caught in sin,and instead of shaming her,Jesus made the people killing her basically rethink there life choices,and let her go!I laid every bit of shame I felt at the altar!It was a great message and a life changing experience!!

I fully agree with the above...the thought we have about Christianity many times we fall into carnality judging the world for its sins...and we do not realize that we are not loving them as God loves them despite their faults ...we are not the ones to judge by what they do...it is true that it is the Holy Spirit that brings holiness...and the world will not understand what it is to be in Christ except by the illumination of the Holy Spirit

Pls don't Stop Doing these podcasts, I call myself a Christ follower or kingdom Servant. In my experience the term Christian can scare the culture today Away. Or even targeted. I Just want to be Christ like & try & Stumble Everyday. I don't even look at someone's "TITLE" I look at the actions & Fruit, How the treat other's, I'm definitely a late bloomer & dealing with some really tough down in the Valley Moment's, I'm a Broken Poured out Servant ATM..May The Lord Bless You and keep you. i used to be like that but i left that state a week or 2 ago. Here is why? We need to show what its like to be a Christian and eliminate the "wrong" perception dominating today. I am a Christian and i dedicate my life to show what a follower of Christ is like

I don't think I can agree 100%. Not that I think the points are necessarily wrong in themselves, it's just that imo it's a mismatch for the issue of living in the world today. The truth is closer to what you were saying about how the world looks less Christian today than it used to. You can be the nicest, kindest, most reasonable person on Earth and many people will treat you horribly simply because they don't agree with what you believe - they think following the Bible makes you evil regardless of your actions. I'm disappointed by the attitude like, if you feel anger or if someone treats you badly, it must be because *I* did something wrong. I came here looking for advice on how to deal with that; guess I'll have to just keep looking around.
Don't give up, I am sure there is an answer some where out there.
