You have access to the information no one else can get unless they pay for it which is not really practical for the average guy working on his vehicle at home since it's very expensive, having block diagrams, common manufacturer issues with recommended repair techniques from OEM, and electrical schematics would really be nice. I know personally I will be repairing my vehicles more often since used car prices are through the roof
I have a 02 tahoe I just installed the brake control module it has power and everything but when hooked up to the trailer it says n.c. no connection. Any advice on what I should do next?

Hello my brake controller was working with this method then suddenly the controller stopped lighting up. I bought a new controller and same thing. Any idea if there is a fuse or what might have happened.
I'm sure there is a fuse somewhere. I ended up trashing that specific brake controller and going to the one model down version. That first one kept quiting on me and after exchanging it twice I had enough. The more basic curt unit in my pickup at the time never gave me trouble so that's what I got instead. I haven't had any issues since. Perhaps you are having same thing.
I did connect a new brake controller on my 05 Chevy tahoe and is not working it have to change from a dot to C with means connect but nothing happens. I have look for everything
Hello i have an 05 silverado and i bought a trailer brake controller with the plug and play connector and I plugged it in and it didnt light up at all.. then i goggled and there was fuse to put in so i did that and it still doesnt light up.. can i get some help please…
Sometimes the parking lights need to be on with some GMs, so turn the headlight switch on. Also in some cases there has to be a trailer connected to turn on the controller
I have heard that on some trucks The power wire for the brake controller was installed into the main power distribution. Box under the hood, but not landed. You have to open the box and land The Wire.
