Whatever it is Horatio, Marcellus, and Bernardo saw it before Hamlet did so It's definitely real. Whether it's Hamlet's father is the question. I like the possibility that it's a demon summoned by Fortinbras to destroy Elsinore from the inside.
@t.c.bramblett617 Yeah probably not where Shakespeare was taking the story lol. It is an odd coincidence that Fortinbras was seeking revenge on King Hamlet for taking his father's lands and killing his father and that Hamlet, who was seemingly close with King Hamlet, considered the apparition was tricking him
I really enjoyed your points, and starting with whether the ghost was real. Just a tip, is to speed up your pace a bit. I had to watch at double speed.
Do you think the ghost is real?
From a story telling point of view, definitely real. From a character study, I love to think it might be an hallucination his friends are indulging.
the ghost is definitely real but likely evil.

@@kenzgitz9884 whoa I never heard that consideration. It is a compelling one, although probably way off from what Shakespeare was intending

your pace is just fine; we can see your process
I'm surprised this is such a small channel. The videos are done very professionally. Well done.
This is great I love how it just feels like you talking through your ideas of hamlet. Your set looks great too what great production quality!

The ghost is real, characters other than Hamlet see him. I think it's a, maybe the, foundational element of the play.
This implies method actors aren’t mad
