- If you couldn’t tell by the title… this might have been made as a counter to my other song Chromatica… I wanted to do some edm for Error with a mix of confusing lyrics and lack of repetition to make the song sound like the inner workings of a glitched hypocritical individual. I also wanted to make sure not to go too ‘dark’/evil and still keep a bit of a lighter tone since Error is pretty goofy overall even if he does the occasional universe erasure.
In another fun story about this video, I had to make it in two weeks before going on a trip so I’d have a video to post while on said trip, but the song took a week, which meant I only had 6 days to make all the art and video before getting on a plane, but you’re seeing this video, so I’m happy to write, I did it in 5.

I like the fact that when Error says “abominable freak” in the chorus, the picture shows three Sanses connected to him: Geno (Error was Geno in the past), Fresh (to whom Error feels fear/revulsion/both) and Ink (Error's natural opposite, often shown to be his enemy).

Actually… After rewatching the video I stand corrected: three other Sanses in this segment are also connected to Error: Classic (Error believes that only the classic universe deserves to exist while every AU is a mistake), Swap (was taken hostage and later pulled into the Anti-void by Error) and Fell (Error tends to steal some things from Underfell, like, say, chocolate).

i love how error is confused and doesn't know what to do when he meets someone like blue who sees the best in everyone, even Error. I feel like Error is torn between killing Blue because he's an "anomaly" and keeping him because he doesn't see Error as an enemy or freak, but as a friend that's just misunderstood and Error hasn't felt kindness before meeting Blue
And blue is a papyrus by technicality, so hes being kept for nostalgia too i guess?

The song portrays Error very well, but Error does see himself as an "abominable freak" like everyone else. When asked who Abomination #1 is in Ask Error!Sans, he points directly at himself and says, "me."
The entire song is about hypocrisy. Error is about hypocrisy. Error in the comic says he's abomination number one, but he also wouldnt erase himself because he won’t fully work through that he too is a mistake, that's what the line is meant to say. It's a distinguishing between 'something that needs to be destroyed' and 'me' not 'things Ill call abomination'. So while youre right about the comic, you're wrong to apply it to the lyrics as if the lyrics are incorrect. The whole point are these disjointed statements and sentiments.

Personally, I've always interpreted his actions to mean he has to stay alive because he has a duty to destroy all the AUs and no one else will do it. Granted, that could be his ego talking.

Depends on how people apply that line, but you're right to point out that the word "everyone" can imply "everyone but me." And his thoughts are contradictory on this matter, as he's very blasé about being called an abomination himself. At other times, it makes him angry. The former could be acceptance or indifference, the latter could be offense or an insecurity flaring up. It really depends on his emotional state, which, as we all know, is very unstable at the best of times.

@@stiffmeisterM87 According to Crayon Queen, the reason for Error's desire to destroy every alternative version of the Original Universe aka Undertale is because since some parts of an Error Entity's personality is based on said entity's final thoughts before becoming an error, Geno being stuck in the Anti Void for awhile which lead him to essentially hate EVERYONE except for himself within his final thoughts molded Error's view and goals.
I think we need to talk more about that line “I sleep soundly in a crowded mausoleum” this line made me realise that he really really does but I just never thought about it before, it really shows how messed up Error is
when you play Chromatica and Fanatica at the same time (Chromatica play starts first) you get "Every day's a little longer when you're all alone" and "You left me all alone" at close enough times to each other. you also get "Need help defending All the worlds you set out to make?" and "Why should I preserve a universe ..." then there's Ink drowning in his emotions and another "You left me all alone" maybe im reading a bit too much into it but both of them are so good!! Fanatica just SLAPS, it goes hard. you're an amazing artist xXTha!! thank you ^^

This is a really fantastic song! Not only is the EDM style done well, but it fits Error and his whole vibe. In fact, I feel like the song captures Error's personality and goals really well! The whole thing with him being a flawed individual full of hypocrisy, and how he isn't nescisarially predictable is all shown rather well!! Really great song! (Same kinda thing applies to Chromatica and I enjoy how the both can be seen as high contrast to one another)

I like how Error is shown as serious business ind this song and not some black freak that could just catch you in his tenta- I mean strings and leave you becouse yes. Here is Error that I wanted to see, scary, unstable hypocrite that could erase you from existance in a second. Besides that this song is just damn good and I can't wait for it to appear on spotify

If this is intentional it is truly amazing, but if you play both Chromatica and Fanatica from when the lyrics start than you'll find that the time from first lyric to last lyric is SUPER close. Only a couple seconds apart with Fanatica being a little longer.

I love the pause at 2:16 it's like his brain is trying to come up with the answer and when he can't come up with anything he basically goes "uhhhhhh... RETREAT! RETREAT!! BACK TO THE CHORUS!" Like he needs to go back to something familiar and safe after almost recognizing he'd go against his own ideology. Love the flow of the lyrics, super fun song.
You should do a mix of chomatica and Fanatica!!! Will you make something similar to Murder (dust) or Horror (or even Killer)?
Two years ago, you already made music for those three. But, would there be a musical video for them, that explains their struggle and misery? Like, how Murder tried everything he could within those 300+ resets (or whatever was the number. And he never used the souls, probably because he doesn't know where they are and he couldn't even use them, if he found) and how he finally decided to do his own genocide? How he literally kills "the human" for hundred of times, only to die later and remember his failed attempt. How he would try to get a better progress this time and would change the pattern of his attacks, just to make a living hell for "the human"? How he literally torture them sometimes? How he understands that, what he is doing - is useless, but he would never give up. (And, if we take into consideration that he despises Killer and would never WILLINGLY join nightmare, that he hates being in the team? And how he is friendly with horror, seeing him as a kindred spirit). There are a lot of things that I can try to say about Dust (Murder) or Horror, but why would I, if I don't know if you already has this information or not
