+John W 1711 Stock Cool...Ya that is a nice area.....little small town for me.....But I have lived up there for a short time...Great east Tennessee people..just not many of them...lol
Love it. Super sweet '40. My friend has three 1940 Fords. His first car a coupe. A truck that has been redone except the interior and paint. And he has the sedan that he is building a Ford 331 engine for.
Beautiful truck, that color just does it and the interior is very nice, Cool how they did the back window, I have never heard of anyone making a custom glass like that.
I love the styling of the truck, it's very nicely done but, I dunno if I would've used that color choice myself! The first thing that comes to mind is sour apple green, but hey, to each their own! I really like that they put in a Ford 5.0 Coyote engine and kept it all Ford! Thanks for sharing ScottieDTV!!!
Hats off to them for keeping the Ford drive train intact. I dislike the SBC simply because I don't like the rear distributor location. It was too hard to tune-up, too close to the radio and if you broke a motor mount leaving the line, you broke the distributor cap and had to get towed home down main street. My friend has '51 GMC almost the same color and I love it, too.
+ScottieDTV I love that truck and the color and motor especially..The motor that's going to become very popular in street rods is the V6 twin turbo EcoBoost..It would be nice if Ford sells a crate version of the Ford GT40's engine as that will be easy to fit in most applications. Scottie, the expense for putting the Coyote motor in was the fabrication to fit it I take it more than the motor itself?
Mike Samra The Coyote is a big motor...really wide...that is the problem with putting it in everything....as far as the V-6 goes...it sounds terrible.....and sound is important in a Hot Rod....so I don't think everyone will be running to get those.....
That coyote is the ultimate motor. That is one truly competes with the Germans like BMW and Mercedes on level of refinement.I'm not sure I would take that gorgeous fuel injection system off in favor of Weber down drafts.
Man they built one hell of truck...beautiful!

+John Sortore I just think they should match..lol...Glad you enjoyed the truck!!
Just wish they hadn't chopped the top. Don't recall seeing anyone else use the Coyote motor other than Mustang guys.
+CarlsCustomCreations The cost to fit that wide motor in here is the reason....
