- 8 days into the holiday, we give our thoughts on Club Palm Garden Keskin. Joleen does a little shopping and go to the beach for afternoon refreshments. We just record our holidays excatly as they happen and how we behave in real life so glad we come across as such. Chris is definitely a funny guy and keeps me laughing everyday. I know Jeff, the restaurants can be a bit samey. The sunshine helps me be positive on holidays. I am a lot more grumpy when back in the UK 😂.

So you got a proper Guiness pour in Turkey - so cool! Does any place there have the frozen Bailey's? Would love that! Magical roast beef dinner looks amazing - you both get gold stars for your clean plates!!!🤣 HAPPY BIRTHDAY ADAM! 🎂 Watching the waiter carry the tower of drinks on his head was quite impressive - hope they never fall & crash. Which hotel would you recommend? The Blue Bay one you stayed in last year or the one this year? Its just us two and we would rather be self-catering. Good location near the beach and bars etc. Thanks x
@@suzanneandclair so we loved the self catering option for us better this year. As we didn't like the confines of having to eat to the schedule of the all inclusive. Plus we spent less on self catering and spending money than we would of it went to the AI again.

@@suzanneandclair we booked it with a company on Facebook called lions VIP travel and transfers on Facebook. Just sent them my flight details and paid on the day we arrived in Turkey
i was in marmaris the same time as you we loved our holiday but it was far to hot over 40 far to hot we normally come in September
Yeah we found it to be fair to hot as well. Usually we love the first few weeks in September and find the temp to be perfect. Work commitments meant we had to go in July this year. Thanks for watching 😁
i loved your marmaris trip wonderd though what room number were you in as you said your room /block was a updated better room compared to your brothers room also was it extra price for aircon
We were in block two room 223. Yes the Aircon and safe were an extra charge. We paid £60 all together for both for the 10 nights. Thanks for watching

How strange Susan, I have said to Joleen about doing a bar crawl vlog in Liverpool 🤣. Our city breaks don't do so well on UA-cam but we do love a day out in Liverpool as its only up the road from us in Ellesmere port.

We used Monzo cards, lira and GBP. When I used my card this time however the shop owner always used the option for GBP.
Ah something I coped the last time I was away you can put any card in and it will leave the air on on while your out I used to use my dole card 😂😂😂
😂😂 some places are good and you can get away with that, but ours was a thick plastic phob which was welded onto the key so we couldn't do it.
Did you guys need a visa or have to fill out any forms etc to get into turkey? I’ve heard we need a HES code or something? 🤔
If your from the UK you don't need any visas anymore. All you need is your passport stamped on the way in to Turkey but it is free now.
Hi been watching all your vlogs on Turkey as we are going there in September there great , but I have a question for you can you recommend a Turkish SIM card for my mobile as I can’t use my phone in turkey as my contract isn’t compatible for turkey and where I can get a SIM card for my phone in turkey. I look forward to your reply. Les
I have the same problem as you, my phone contract doesn't work in Turkey. I didn't get a new SIM, what I did was put my phone on flight mode when I got on the plane to go to Turkey and didn't take it back out of flight mode until I returned to the UK. What I then did was just use WiFi everywhere we went. All the bars and restaurants have it, your apartment or hotel will also have it and I just used WhatsApp to make calls and texts. WiFi is so easy to access you won't need another SIM. Hope you found this helpful. Turkey is beautiful especially in September the weather is just perfect hope you have a great time. I notice you don't go to the street vendor Kebab shops, where the food looks a lot more tasty, and authentic, is there a reason for this?
We just never encountered any. We have one more video to put out though in which we go eat where the locals do in the Bazaar. It was really enjoyable food and such good value. That video should be up on Saturday 😁
