- This video will learn how to fix a BIOS file for Lenovo ThinkPad Laptop, the steps will be the same for the majority of ThinkPad Devices.
The BIOS file which we use here is belongs to Lenovo ThinkPad L380 Laptop, this device is an Intel Based Platform and it comes with Intel 8th Gen CPU.

Thanks for sharing this huge information but my firend every single viewer i think is a bigginer that just know how to read and erase bios and he dont know what is bios problem what is me region and nothing about these stuff.. if u can make a biggner videos about these things what they are and how they work and how to fix them your channel will grow in a very fast way trust me. These things are already explained in many places such as (Forums and discord services) and I can't explain it better than them.
My focus here is to share some BIOS related tips with people and showing them how to fix their BIOS files (through examples).
There's no way to learn everything from one person or one channel. People need to search, think and practice more to increase their knowledge.

Can you please explain how to identify the bios chip on motherboard? I can't find any schematics for my l380 yoga.
@@dovs96 Just look for the bigger chips with 4 connectors on the one side and 4 on the other. "Winbond"
The BIOS chip package is SOIC8/SOP8 or WSON8. Search for its image and you will find it.

Hi! Great and very helpful channel. But how should I flash the edited bios image with cleaned up ME region? Should I use the external bios flash chip programmer, or there is some software firmware flash method that doesn't require the soldering of the bios flash chip? I have a lenovo thinkpad l380 yoga with disabled intel ME, that's causing some problems like long boot times. I think it was disabled on purpose with tool like me_cleaner, since everything except intel ME works fine and machine is exceptionally stable under any type of workload.
I would do the external propramming, but my soldering skills are poor, there is no chance that I will not destroy the motherboard in the process.

Yes, you will need to use a SPI Programmer in order to flash the BIOS chip. If your soldering skills isn't good, you can use a clip/clamp, but I don't prefer that because sometimes it gives you errors.

Hello, to remove the password from the BIOS of a ThinkPad T460.
You have to use an SPI Programmer in order to do that.
how to change serial and model information to new bios sir ?
For ThinkPad devices the DMI are stored in the SIO chip not in BIOS.
