I have tried 9 from Nishane, with 5 more on the way (Fan Your Flames included). I love complex, sensual fragrances, and Nishane does not disappoint in this regard. They are my favorite niche house thus far.
HUGE fan of this one, the most luxurious coconut note in my collection. Since they are extraits I do appreciate the modest sprayers, as do those around me probably :)
@@warrendchild It's prominent but because of the tobacco and rum and tonka it's a completely different coconut fragrance experience than most of us have been conditioned to expect. In the overall range of scents (men's and women's) it's sweetness is right in the middle, so guys not used to unisex scents may find it quite sweet, so test/sample if you can. Actually if you want a more masculine coconut scent I can't recommend Odin #10 (Roam) any more - it's paired with ebony for a drier-woody coconut scent.
Had a sample of this a couple months ago. Loved it and gonna pick up a bottle soon. I don’t really remember it but my notes say “magical smell of gasoline and coconut. Softens on dry down to more woods and vanilla.”
Definitely a try before you buy. The note breakdown did sound amazing to mee, but I don't like this fragrance at all. There is a harshness about it that I can't get over. I almost blind bought it and I'm sooooo glad I did not do it. I really like Herod, but this has a dry harshness to my nose. Like the review as always.
Thanks for the review Steven. I have this in my radar to try. I own and love Ani, 100 silent ways. And Tuberoza from Nishane. I’ve been happy with this house.
I have about 5 Nishane in my collection & Im guessing I have the newer style bottles. I just did a fragrance trade & noticed there was no design on the back of Nishane Tag.. No Batch code, Double ring Atomizer sleeve.. Now Im seeing its an Older styled bottle.. You definitely cleared up something I been trying to verify for the past 3 days 😅
Hey Steven, As always a great review. However I do have to disagree with your comparison to Herod. In my opinion this fragrance is so much more complex. If I'm being honest, they smell nothing alike. I love Fan your flames. Herod is a mass appealing designer type fragrance.....
I would subscribe 100 times a day if I could, one of my best channels ever..Good luck reaching 150K you deserve much more..Thanks for your great reviews..Stay safe!
Nice video, i really like this fragrance, wish you could make a full Review on Sultan Vetiver which i believe Is the most underrated Nishane fragrance... Saludos
This was the first Nishane fragrance that I have tried. I wasn't too fond of this the first time I tried it. By the time I wore 3 or 4 times I loved it. It seems a little similar to Pardon by Nasamoto.
I recently got into nishane after my Roja Dove phase, I just ordered fan your flames and it should be here this week. I am very excited! So far I have loved all the Nishane frags I have tried. But I have found Nishane to on par with Roja in terms of quality and overall experience, at a fraction of the cost. I dont know who actually created B-612 but wow! Such a beautiful complex scent.
Unfortunately, it dries down to a clean laundry soap on my skin (as the coconut flesh note fades with it). Not a safe blind buy, especially if rum doesn't develop well on your skin. I was also concerned about the smoke because my skin pulls this note (but I didn't get much smoke/if any). Sample first (I did, thankfully).
Uhhhh I bought hacivat 350$ then noticed later 190$ price on Amazon yeah bummer till I bought wulong cha from nishane 190$ on Amazon so I'm feeling better
Thank you so much for this video Steven... Once again amazing review and very informative.... Definitely one that I must at least try..... ....If you review and like 100% is worth a shot......
That's a great question! The brand itself is based out of Istanbul, put a portion of their production may be in the states as well. That's just a guess.
I wanted to like this one, but it wasn't the rich warm boozy fragrance I thought it was going to be. I found it to be more of a mature coconut scent, which is interesting I suppose. I also didn't get a poetic impression from this fragrance, as was the thesis :-)
I dont get a single bit of cinnamon or vanilla in this is literally smells like a major dose of coconut in a bitter way probably due to the cedarwood. I get slight booze and a waft of tobacco. In no way does this smell like a gourmand
@@Redolessence of course man I really enjoy your reviews but thats why fragrance is amazing because everyones has a different sensory experience with the scents. Like you may get gourmand touches I just don’t. For me it last a good 10 hours on skin though if your skin is hydrated properly which was impressive. I really want to try 1270 by frapin.
Check out FragranceUSA they had a Nishane 15% coupon code available. I paid under $190 for 100mL of Ani. I know it’s pricey but my girl goes wild when I wear it and I lovvvvve it!

I love to hear that! I'm so glad you like them!
What is your top Five among those that you have?
I get a bunch of cedar in the dry down. An amazing fragrance from an amazing house. Great review as always!
Thank you for the feedback!
Excellent review! I come pretty old with this comment but I find your review one of the most pertinent on the domain! Great review!
Glad you enjoyed it!

Is it quite strong? Do you find coconut very prominent?

I just bought it. I think I didn’t like it at first but now I think I am beginning to process the scent. Thanks for the review!
Fan Your Flames is wonderful for a night out in a cigar and whiskey bar - in case any of such will still be around in the future.
Great description! Very well said!

I have Ani and Hacivat from this house. I don't have this one. I need a description of how this smells.
Sir is it worth buying. Can it irritate some one
How about the X version ?
It’s the best gourmand for a man
I found the dry down very close to Oud Tobacco by Montale. Did you find that similarity?
I get that as well!
The one and only is here
Thank you for stopping by!
bit girly this one, coconut and rum but what a coconut and rum it is, ultra high definition.
Good review as usual
Thank you so much, Chad!
Steven do you find fan your flames similar to jazz club?
Only slightly. Fan Your Flames is much darker.
@@Redolessence perfect so it wouldn’t be a redundant buy in your opinion ?

What's the difference between NISHANE instanbul and New york
That's a great question! The brand itself is based out of Istanbul, put a portion of their production may be in the states as well. That's just a guess.
@@Redolessence oh nice. Have a bottle of Fan your flames New York and Instanbul really wanted to know the difference. Thank you @Redolessence
The opening is perfect, dry down not good 😐...
Anyone know why my bottle says 'New York' rather than 'Istanbul'?
I found Kilian Angels Share to smell very similar. Am I alone?
really?
@@mrputtogether yes do you disagree?
Angels share is totally different
You have some awesome tee-shirts!

This is a great scent! Unique
Thank you for commenting, Milan!
watch model and brand name?
Can you do top Maison Margiela fragrances?
I would be happy to! Thank you for the suggestion!
Does it kinda resemble as Jazz Club or D&G The one Edp? All those notes remind me of thesec
There's a slight similarity, but this one is much darker.
Love this one!
Happy Tuesday!!!!
Is it worth $200 i can get it for 🤷♂️🤷♂️
I personally think so, brother!
