Ginger thank you so much for the time you put into these tutorials so that we could make them also. I really appreciate it so much. Already made one for my daughter and now working on one for my daughter in law. Hugs!
I wanted to Thank you for sharing this File Folder album tutorial with us. I just finished my first album and loved it! I will be making more of this one.
I am a new subscriber. I came over from Tmika's channel. I really enjoyed watching every minute of you making your file folder mini album. It is gorgeous. Thank you so much.
New subbie here. Came over from Sabrina Ann’s channel. I have enjoyed watching the File Folder Mini Album video. I like the way you attached the file folders to the hinge. I have made a hinge album before, but I like the way you attach it to the hinge better. I will definitely be making this album. Thanks for the tutorial.
Thank you Ginger. I wanted to make insert mats with tabs but didn't have a die or punch but I do have an envelope punch board. This is a great tutorial. I also appreciated learning how you attached pages without the sleeve type opening. I am going to give this mini album a go. Oh and I also liked how you scored the cover paper when wrapping your cover.
I am making this album with Graphic 45's "Come Away With Me" series and make it an album for special trips I take. (Hopefully there will be some!) Thanks again for your detailed instructions.
Thank you so much for sharing this genius technique with us. I was wondering how you were going to attach the file folders to this hinge binding and it's a wonderful technique!
I have a suggestion for attaching the pages the hinges which might be a little stronger, and it will give you an extra pocket. Papercrafter45 attaches a sleeve to the back of the pages in the mini album shown here: ua-cam.com/video/x-2eKKBdGjE/v-deo.html - starting about at the 1:50 mark. Basically, it's like making a vertical pocket, but you only adhere the top and bottom. Both long sides are open. The long open edge at the spine will slip over the hinge and get glued (or taped) down. It holds securely, and the page-side open edge forms a pocket. I tried making the album she shows, and it turned out well.
Loved this tutorial!!! But silly crazy me forgot and glue my back designer paper on before I put pages is album so now I have to cut strips of paper somehow to cover backside of hinge!!!! You would think I would have paid more attention when I noticed I didn't put adhesive on back of hinges!!!! Argh!!!
this will be great for my recipe book that I would like to do. I love this. I have search and search for something I wanted and think I found this. if I make one I'll let you know and send pictures

I've done that with other mini albums, however, I didn't want to add any more bulk to this album.
Excellent tutorial

I love your project!! I want to tra this for my first album. :-) the problem is that my paper is 6x6.. Is the same? Sorry for my english
No I used the 8x8. The 6x6 is too small.
awesome thank you
Beautiful Album, But I don't have a punchboard, and generally don't need one, so how would you make the tabs without a punchboard please.
You could just use an existing file folder and trace the tab edge wi a pencil and trim around it.
Thank you so much for answering. I do have file folders. :) xxx
