Is Cryptocurrency Killing Free Continuous Integration?

People have started taking advantage of free CI systems such as Github Actions, Gitlab CI, LayerCI, etc... to mine cryptocurrencies.
This is a major drain of resources on these providers and has caused them to both invest in ways to prevent these attackers, and in some cases reduce the capability offered within the free tier.

@@JoshuaPack I would say it is inevitable and it is nothing to be upset about. I base that statement on the axiom that humans being imperfect make mistakes and those mistakes have many both direct and indirect consequences.
Sooner or later anything worth anything is bound to be exploited, so learn, adapt, move on. It is human nature.
