This is not a Russian designed yacht! This is a Damen designed and engineered yacht. This is the second to largest yacht in the explorer line by Damen. A Russian purchased it, that's all.

I like this billionaires taste. I wouldn't buy a mega yacht just for parties. I would want it to go explore. To me, the entire reason for owning a big boat is to explore. Too many boats are just party ones.

Paul Allen's yacht Octopus has been doing all this since 2003 and yes it holds an ice rating. Additionally it's twice as big and does everything you stated in this video but more luxurious.
Ice rating and Polar Class rating are two different things. Could seem similar, but while the very best of the ice rating only allow you to use the vesel in 1 year ice, even the very lowest Polar Class rating allows you to do so in 1 year ice AND SOME MULTIYEAR ICE.
In sum, even the lowest Polar Class rated vessel can access parts of the ocean that the very best Ice rating don´t allow you to access.

Looks like the Damen SeaXplorer 75. it is a dutch shipyard. They Even offer a 100m Long yacht.

This yacht is hiding in Ensenada Baja California Mexico right now. Its being painted an olive green-ish grey. You can see it when driving into the entrance of the city. Im sure the US would love to take custody of the vessel.
