This point is wrong that only category 1 and 2 students are studious. Many times infact most of the times category 3,4,5 students outperform than cat 1 and 2 students. It is upto you to students. Remember competition is high.

holi is there for both boys and girls just its that we're not allowed to play together for mens its in the mens hostel area and for girls its the girls hostel and there's rain dance and dj for both boys and girls.

Many / Mostly times cat 3,4,5 are better , multitasking and had higher potential !
And ultimately students are divided on these category systems on the basis of VITEEE Rank which itself dont know the ranking process ! Like 75 %ile student might get 8-9k rank whereas people who scored 90-95 %ile are getting 40-45k ranks so for them they have to enroll in Cat4-5 to get a decent branch !!
So ultimately there is a mix match of crowd in Vit !!
ranking is based on equi percentile method , as there is no negative marking , even 1 mark difference can push/pull your ranks in hundreds or even thousands , they compare the right-wong ratio for same mark candidates
then they compare their age ( more age = preference )
and if age is also same , then they compare family incomes
also JEE and VITEEE has very different approaches . i got 96.6%ile in jee main , 221 in bitsat and rank 5408 in viteee

I agree with you on joining the college only against category 1 or 2 but disagree with you on not joining Chennai, Amaravathi and Bhopal. So many children are studying who I know and the feedback is pretty good especially teaching and placements compared to so many colleges in India. If you have plans to do masters then I agree otherwise placement point of view no other college in India is giving these many opportunities for an average student.

@@YashGargOfficial Nhi bhai wo sahi bol rha hai VIT se btech ki hai maine 2021 PASSOUT. mai ece ka tha sabki placement ho gyi acchi jagah se unko chhod ke jo job nhi liye. Mere kaafi friends hain jinki job 17 lakh-20lakh bhi hai, baaki even chemical wale place ho gye hain 13-14 lac mein.
Toh placement is not the issue, only issue is fee and strictness.
Aur mai presently iit bhu mein hun, I can tell you faculty yahan acche hain par placement vit ki hi acchi thi

I'm Aurthit Paul from West Bengal. I have secured 4105 rank in VITEEE. ECE with catagory 1 has been allotted for me.
My jee rank is 112674 (92.57%,Ile) . General category. Is any good option for chemical engineering with this rank? Or should I join VIT?

Apply for Amrita with your jee marks. Last date is June 9. You will get chemical eng may be in slab 1 itself which will be around 1.5 lakhs
if you get any good nit by any chance , join it , otherwise VIT is the best option available after iit/nit/bits
You guys run in a blind race of C.S. I just pray that one day may almighty enlighten your mind and you all realise the importance of other branches. And moreover, VIT is not a stupid college. It’s far better and reputed institute than many other universities in terms of international recognition and quality. In private, I only prefer VIT Vellore & BITS Pillani. And yes, one more thing that there is no Management Quota in this institute and neither in BITS.

In my friend circle,I am only cat 5 student... Guess what.... Never had any backlogs..... 1 freind from cat 1 had 4 backlogs.... Many scholership holders are having multiple backlogs..... So If finiancially you are RICH and NOT HAVE ANY BETTER COLLAGE (any gov IIT or NIT) OPTION .... you can join VIT... just make sure.. you study with consistency and work on skill.. VIT will get you placed..... if u r joining in Cat 3 and 4 and 5 .... Dont think about return of investment... If u do want to then... you have to work really hard here... coz opportunites are here... but with opportunity.. compitition is also there.. (I am 4th year student in VIT from CSE - Spec in Bioinformatics and I am doing btech with PCB background in boards 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂)

VIT vellore campus vs manipal banglore campus, which campus is preferable for cse core. Gt seat in vit under category 3 for cse, if i get same cse in manipal banglore campus, which one should i consider. Quality efucstion & placement wise
Both factors equal in both colleges. But since MIT you have mentioned Banglore, definitely VIT is much better. Main campus MIT is equal to VIT in placements

Bro Relaxx... first of all you must participate in Jac delhi as alot of seats are reserved for delhi people in good colleges. First find out what you can get at your rank. Then also go for IPU counselling. (Also it's completely optional but you can got for MP and UP. You'll get great colleges in branches like AI, ece, it .. ) then you might consider the the fees and all... for your rank (if you want cse) you can easily join vit bhopal cse specialization cat1. But in Chennai or vellore you have to go for cat 3,4,5
