And indeed, Jonah was among the messengers. [Mention] when he ran away to the laden ship. And he drew lots and was among the losers. Then the fish swallowed him, while he was blameworthy. And had he not been of those who exalt Allah, He would have remained inside its belly until the Day they are resurrected. But We threw him onto the open shore while he was ill. And We caused to grow over him a gourd vine. And We sent him to [his people of] a hundred thousand or more. And they believed, so We gave them enjoyment [of life] for a time. 37:139-148
And [mention] the man of the fish, when he went off in anger and thought that We would not decree [anything] upon him. And he called out within the darknesses, "There is no deity except You; exalted are You. Indeed, I have been of the wrongdoers." So We responded to him and saved him from the distress. And thus do We save the believers. 21:87-88
Then has there not been a [single] city that believed so its faith benefited it except the people of Jonah? When they believed, We removed from them the punishment of disgrace in worldly life and gave them enjoyment for a time. 10:98

I am on othere Religion.. And I love story of Jonah.. He is great prophet.. He warned people of Nenivah not to pray to false Gods and stop bad ways against others.. But God is so Great and his mercy give chances to wicked ways of people of Nineveh.. Bless this page..🙏🙏

I’m a Christian. I love this story because Jonah is relatable. God sends him to preach and he doesn’t want to go because the sinners might hear and repent. He doesn’t want God to have mercy on people he hates. On a gourd, yes, but not on a bunch of his own kind. If this isn’t the whole story of Christianity and Islam then idk what is. May we all rejoice in God’s mercy and never wish evil or harm on one another that the Almighty says is not His will for any of us. God is love.

Sorry, the story of Jonah is frabricated, so no god sent him. It's a bit like prasing the book of Harry Potter. Doesn't matter how much you like it. At the end of the day it's not history and it never happend.
I mean, according to islamic prophecies, Christians will accept Islam when they’ll see jesus come to this world again. He will stop people from worshipping him. That’s a prophecy and later on he will also defeat the antichrist, in islam we call the antichrist ‘dajjal’.
Mashallah this is the best story. Who ever didn't like his story, shame on u
I am ashamed that I always complain about my life while the life of all my beloved prophet have more hardship than mine.
