Lots of interesting bouncer tech and tricks used. For the parkour section you use Surging Impulse in tandem with the vertical tracking movement of Roaring Pheasant while locked on to reach its weak point at 5:23 I really like how for Roaring Pheasant you utilize the horizontal movement in a couple ways, for example it was used to travel the gap at 6:39 and to punish solus’s outstretched arm at 6:56 and again at 7:21 The final hit of this PA is tricky to land but you do it perfectly at 7:13 You placed the lingering shockwaves of Fierce Wave alt attack and pre fired Pinion Blade to line up with the staff weak point during solus’s animation at 7:28 A single normal attack input was used to cancel the dash animation and reposition at 7:44 To ensure a Jet Boots Photon Blast, Fierce Wave was used at 8:13 Preemptive placement of lingering shockwaves from Fierce Wave alt attack -> Roaring Pheasant to close the gap -> Rampaging Harrier alt attack to quickly end animation and transition -> Rampaging Harrier at 10:46 Main notes I took away from this showcase: - Preemptive/setup damage during long boss animations - Memorize the travel distance of Roaring Pheasant to line up final hit/punish and use it’s horizontal/vertical movement to close gaps (this avoids dash animation and the end lag of it) - Utilize normal and alt attacks when necessary to cancel animations or to setup Jet boots photon blast - Pinion Blade does NOT grant Iframes against certain boss attacks as seen at 11:08 - Use class skill “Blade Arts Parry” effectively by learning enemy attack patterns Thank you, for reading my analysis and to TeteRibeyes for helping me find the base wear “Narsikist T2/B2 [Ba]” and accessory “Poofy Skirt: White” to complete my own Youmu cosplay. This writing piece was mainly for me to improve, but I hope others can take away something valuable from it and your gameplay. :3

LETS GOOOOOOOO!! OP RIB
Lots of interesting bouncer tech and tricks used.
For the parkour section you use Surging Impulse in tandem with the vertical tracking movement of Roaring Pheasant while locked on to reach its weak point at 5:23
I really like how for Roaring Pheasant you utilize the horizontal movement in a couple ways, for example it was used to travel the gap at 6:39 and to punish solus’s outstretched arm at 6:56 and again at 7:21 The final hit of this PA is tricky to land but you do it perfectly at 7:13
You placed the lingering shockwaves of Fierce Wave alt attack and pre fired Pinion Blade to line up with the staff weak point during solus’s animation at 7:28
A single normal attack input was used to cancel the dash animation and reposition at 7:44
To ensure a Jet Boots Photon Blast, Fierce Wave was used at 8:13
Preemptive placement of lingering shockwaves from Fierce Wave alt attack -> Roaring Pheasant to close the gap -> Rampaging Harrier alt attack to quickly end animation and transition -> Rampaging Harrier at 10:46
Main notes I took away from this showcase:
- Preemptive/setup damage during long boss animations
- Memorize the travel distance of Roaring Pheasant to line up final hit/punish and use it’s horizontal/vertical movement to close gaps (this avoids dash animation and the end lag of it)
- Utilize normal and alt attacks when necessary to cancel animations or to setup Jet boots photon blast
- Pinion Blade does NOT grant Iframes against certain boss attacks as seen at 11:08
- Use class skill “Blade Arts Parry” effectively by learning enemy attack patterns
Thank you,
for reading my analysis and to TeteRibeyes for helping me find the base wear “Narsikist T2/B2 [Ba]” and accessory “Poofy Skirt: White” to complete my own Youmu cosplay.
