Full trust in Steve he’s done a fantastic job with our club getting us out of administration and progressing our academy and training ground with plans to develop our famous sellhurst park. Long may it continue
@@darren09700 Our training ground was needing development before hand and the plans to develop our stadium was delayed due to council and the Sainsbury’s not wanting us to go ahead with our plans. Hopefully soon the development will begin
I worked at Steve Parish's business for a few years when they were really taking off and can confirm he's a decent chap. One year I was travelling to New York with a couple of mates and saw him at the airport, we chatted for a bit at the bar exchanging pleasantries etc and later on when it came to paying the bill the barmaid said 'its ok your friend paid'. A decent chap indeed...
“Positive Jealousy” love that….being jealous is usually seen as a negative but it doesn’t have to mean you feel negative towards the person who “has it” more, you are driven by the fact you don’t have it to work harder towards the same level of success
Excellent programme, I will watch it again. Full of insight, and the last comment is great, try and do what you like doing and if possible own a part of it plus look after yourself. Glad he is our chairman 👍
A coffee is the cigarette of 2023. 😂 I always seek out his interviews. As a West Ham fan I envy how logical his approach to running a football club is, and how he speaks articulately and easy to digest.
What a a legend, couldn't ask for a better Chairman to run our club.. Its moments like these where you must be so appreciative to what we got.. Would rather this inspiring, authentic, transparency any day over a nonchalant Saudi just pumping Billions into a club. Let's create success the right way!! #cpfc
well @@joewilliams9535 lets have it the easy peasy way hey and cheat by getting the billionaires in and being gifted the trophies without having to work for them
I attended the Palace match in Detroit, Sunday night. Steve Parrish received a very warm reception from the supporters behind the goal. Pressing himself as much as possible through the 1st base safety netting for selfies, handshakes and autographs the mutual affection was plain to see.
Another brilliant episode and truly love Steve Parish. Has taken control of what was a club in disarray and collapsing, now look at what they have and doing it on a very minimal budget, but has the vision to take it to the strengths of the clubs above.
I interveiwed Steve many times for CPFC podcasts i've been involved in during his early tenure. Sadly he does very little smaller podcasts, if any these days, choosing the bigger corporations, but i get that. What i will say is that he has a steely determination and sheer will to win, that's what separates him from non hands on billionaires sitting in another Country. Would i love him to buy more players, of course. Would i love an upgraded stadium, of course. As frustrating as it is as a Palace fan at times, would i want anyone else at the helm of our club, no i wouldn't. As Chairman in the most sucessful period of our 161 year history, he and his team are slowly building a legacy. One that might one day enable us not to sell our best players to survive and be fed by a fantastic academy that we hope should start bearing the fruit of our huge local and diverse area. Up the Eagles.
The Steve parish edition is brilliant..I can relate to his past so much..dealing with planners, little John operators..and I’m the one using the 1st apple macs
Jake's question regarding transparency between club and fans is entirely pertinent at this moment in time. Michael Olise is potentially walking out the door for, what appears to be an under value fee, and we the fans are wondering why.
Love listening to Steve Parish; down to earth, smart, realistic. That bloke Jake's pasty white legs and his cling-fit jogging pants were a distraction however. The guy sitting next to him was good though.
Steve’s done a cracking job, but can’t help say that he needs to engage with the fans more. There’s concerns about the lack of transfer activity the last few windows and the direction of the club, so would be good to see him come out and talk
@@GarethReecewood haha to be fair he’s not wrong in a way. He loves to talk to the media but can never sit down with fans. Think it would be beneficial for both sides for him to do that.
Where’s Steve now when it’s all going wrong? His reluctance to keep Roy Hodgson could cost palace their premier league place. Roy Hodgson was clearly not the man for the job this season, awful performance after awful performance, same mistakes and poor players keeping their places whilst young talent regresses. How much longer can it go on before it’s too late? Parish silent and allowing him to continue will cost palace.
Interesting contradictions there. Here he talks about keeping his ego in check, but was allegedly close to going on telly with Dragon's Den when he'd given up his advertising business to concentrate on Palace, for example. He does come across as very considerate. so these few elements are very confusing. As a Palace fan, it is, however, reassuring how he talks about building a platform for ongoing success rather than chasing dreams that have nearly ruined the club previously.
I am not too sure how long he’s been in charge but Palace have not taken a new step forward. Decrepit stadium, Manager and throwing money at a 30+ year old that doesn’t want to stay. He’s terrible!!
Simon Jordan stole it from himself 🤦 'buying' the stadium with someone else's money and having no real control of it🤦. He might have had the best intentions but he was too busy being a clever sausage and not ensuring the club was properly sustainable. Hence he lost all his money.
@@charliemonkracing4849 🤦Jordan is the wally that put the club into admin through over leveraging himself with companies owning companies he owed money to. Then throwing the ground into that mess also by 'buying' it from an ex owner via another company. He made a complete rickets at the end. Sometimes Simon's mouth is more powerful than his brain.
