- After months of reverse engineering Klonoa Door to Phantomile Ray1Map now allows the maps to be viewed, including objects, cutscene scripts and more! All the GBA Klonoa games are also included from earlier, including Empire of Dreams, Dream Champ Tournament and Heroes.

This is historic! Thank you for spending your time and effort on this! I've always wanted to explore Klonoa's maps but I've never had any way to, thank you!
Amazing job!
I love your dedication to other cool game series such Klonoa 😄
Are you planning to support other game series in future?
Thanks! 🙂
Reg. other games, I don't have anything specific planned. 3D games take a lot longer to add and with the way Ray1Map is set up right now it sadly isn't very well suited for it (since you can't select 3D objects I had to have them all cycle through their animations on repeat here).
Thanks for the effort and insight into this (previously) unknown adventure world to me! :) Chill music, and especially liking the 16-bit track 😎
Glad you liked it 🙂
Master of carrots, and this
Let's Go Dude!!!!
(New account, I’m removed because I’m on a new account for a reason :p lol)
Anyways to the vid, I feel like calling this ray1map kind of isn’t true anymore as it’s practically supporting every game now lol good job. I can’t say much about this though considering I know about nothing how it works, but hey if it does why not lel. It looks cool and It would be cool if someone made many levels out of it, keep up the work
But 5 months ago was your last upload, that feels much longer then it actually was, just like the months I takes nowadays for me to say anything because of exams lol (28th it’ll start, 7th it’ll end) but yea after exams I should be able to talk more, atleast you seem to be more productive then me :p
I feel like these type of things is why those game documentary UA-camrs (you know those ones) have those 8k free camera shots of games even past the PS3 generation xd wish we had more of these but for modern games
Haha yeah, it's ended up expanding more beyond Rayman than I had expected. Probably best to keep the name at this point though, but it's a bit outdated calling it a "2D Rayman map viewer" as it says in its banner image :p
I wouldn't say I've been too productive sadly, but was fun spending some time working on this. I learned a bunch about 3D models and animations which was nice. Good luck on the exams! :)
And yeah, being able to get these unrestricted views of games is really nice. I'd imagine it'd be both easier and harder with modern games; easier since they usually use common engines like Unity and Unreal (old games always used their own custom engines) and harder because there's a lot more complexity that goes into modern games.
@@RayCarrot emulators are probably the only thing that can really ever emulate modern systems, and those take years to make; vita emulator when xd I mean the Wii emulator has a free cam right, but yea remember, people like you contribute to the retrospective cause so let’s make the change rather then wait for it (haha get the joke I don’t do what I say to do) xd but seriously don’t say you’re unproductive, that’s not good for your thoughts as you’ll start thinking everything you do right now is useless and lazy which is not true (speaking from experience), even I’m… productive even if I don’t like admitting it lol
Oh yea thanks for the good luck for the exam, I will seriously need it lol
Yeah, new update after finally months!! 😳
Will you add, like, other Rayman spinoffs? (mainly Rayman M) or the first three Crash Bandicoot games?
Rayman M is already supported in raymap: raym.app/maps/
I don't think there really are any Rayman games missing now except the Rabbids ones and the newer UbiArt ones.
Reg. the Crash games, probably not. I think those games have already been reverse engineered by others.
@@RayCarrot Wait, so things like "Rayman Brain Games" are supported, too? 🤔
@@ericcartman7420 Yep, all the educational games are on Ray1Map
Return of the king
This is amazing :)
Thanks! 🙂
Its improving 27/7!
Long time no see
Hi
Is there a way you can export the map model?
You might be able to in Unity using some plugin
@@RayCarrot Good idea. Cannot open ray1map using Unity tho, spews out buncha errors. downloaded zip
@@ShinySkink9185 That's probably because you're missing the sub-modules. There is information about which ones they are and where they go in the readme. Alternatively if you clone the repo with a git tool it should automatically pull the sub-modules as well.
