same Thomas1Edward2Henry3 when u were talking about it on ur top 20 episodes when u said yeah we all know even Conan O'Brien mentioned it i was thinking that james was gay when u brought up XD
One thing that always makes me laugh is the fact that James was built in the 1910s in Yorkshire and it’s supposed to have a thick Yorkshire accent haha.
Well they did not do it with others like christina ricci and others and i forgotton Darn it im now talking like Sidney the forgetful diesel But balwin was the only one of the famous intreview
Now that I think about it, when I was little I do remember James being very feminine that I sometimes confused him for girl. Him being gay now makes since.
@@toonteen247 in Japan and Greece it'd be the opposite, the main characters at the would be voiced by females such as Thomas, or would be female all together such as Duck and Henry or James iirc
In Baldwin's "James" voice: Oh PUH-leaze! Red with black stripes are, like, SO last season! Blue stripes all the way, honey! I didn't really like Baldwin on TTTE, but his James voice was hilarious! XD
I really LOVE Alec Baldwin in Thomas & Friends (S5 and TATMRR), yeah, he may not be the best narrator by some people, but for me, he does a really fantastic job (except S6) and sounds really amazing when it comes to some humorous lines when narrating Season 5. He even does some funny and great character voices, too. He even does an amazing job as Mr. Conductor on Thomas and the Magic Railroad, too. Even some funny parts whether it's impersonating Sir Topham Hatt or even saying hilarious lines when eating each vegetable. This interview is interesting, too. I cracked up at this quote at 0:34. 1:03 James is a TENDER engine, Conan! Ah well, I'll just let it slip by. I still enjoy the interview overall.
That ain’t even the best example of it either. I remember I think in the tree episode when he yelled “oh help”. Why was everyone so sexually frustrated on this show?
Then the original music composed by Mike O'Donnell and Junior Campbell would've remained intact. But, to be fair, Michael Brandon's narration can be tolerable in "Harold and the Flying Horse", "Bulgy Rides Again", and "Salty's Stormy Tale" with Mike and Junior's classical score playing in the background.
@@BigLightning4360 Michael Brandon’s narration for Bulgy Rides Again wouldn’t really be needed because he hardly knew the story of Bulgy from the beginning unlike Michael Angelis.

James is a little red tender engine not a tank engine Conan. Don't you know the difference silly? Also, just because he gave James a high voice doesn't mean that he's gay. He was just shocked at Toad. Michael Angelis gave James a high voice in the episode Bowled Out when he said "disgusting" and people didn't think that was gay (although heck who knows maybe Conan will start calling Angelis gay now for that matter even though he's dead now).
He’s 64 but he can’t make films there’s some videos of him thinking that he didn’t pull the trigger even though he really did there a lot of gun videos on UA-cam
Okay, aside from Conan O'Brien not realising that James is a tender engine, not a tank engine, this interview is extremely rare. This is the only time I've seen Alec Baldwin discussing 'Thomas and Friends". Such a shame as some of his narration was hilarious.
OMG IM NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO THOUGHT THAT :D btw this is like the ONLY Thomas related interview with Baldwin haha.
Thomas1Edward2Henry3 your top 20 part 1 of favorite Thomas episodes brought me here.
me too

Because I'm Scottish, I grew up with Michael Angelis. Alec Baldwin was my first American narrator which is why I like him.
Fancy meeting you here.
I love how the audience laughs at the “Oh my goodness” line. xD
Hi Noah how are you doing
One thing that always makes me laugh is the fact that James was built in the 1910s in Yorkshire and it’s supposed to have a thick Yorkshire accent haha.
'No coaches, Thomas! We've forgotten the coaches!!'
Conan: You made James gay!
Alec: That’s your interpretation.
Really Conan? James' voice didn't sound that gay.
BriceGum [rockman138] but it did sound similar to big gay al from south park
That seriously is his interpretation
James was a posh, and upper class
Personality I think he was trying to make him uppity sounding
I died
Growing up i loved James this kind of ruined my childhood
I always thought Toad was the one who said “oh my goodness!” And James just said “what was that?!”
finally an interview with baldwin talking about thomas. i think this is the only one that ive found where he talks about his work on thomas

Probably didn't help that James was voiced by a girl in the official movie either
@@toonteen247 in Japan and Greece it'd be the opposite, the main characters at the would be voiced by females such as Thomas, or would be female all together such as Duck and Henry or James iirc
James is very feminine compared to the other male trains, he likes to be clean.
Yeah that didn’t help either LOL
