that random boy The thing is, The person promised authentic 90s nostalgia, even said they were a collector, yet almost nothing in the box delivered. When you think of 90s you think of things like furbys, moon shoes, Pokémon cards, tamagotchi, and other things that were popular with kids/teens. The contents in this box looked like they didn’t clean their attic since the 90s and put the stuff they had up there in a box and shipped it. That’s why Bunny was so upset and why fans are mad too. They didn’t deliver and they honestly should be reported.
Reporting them wouldn't be mean at all. This stuff is possibly a health hazard and you said the seller had other boxes for sale, so they'll definitely do this to someone else.

Girl you should NOT feel bad about at *least* writing a negative review, if not filing a claim over this - I get that you understand that you're taking a huge gamble buying these mystery boxes, but this one literally contains mold and possibly a bug egg. That's not just a disappointing box, that's outright wrong and a health hazard!

Heaven Sutterfield she can still get a refund even if the seller specifically stated “no refunds” or “sold as is” because this “mystery box” was described specifically as valuable and actual 90’s memorabilia. If the seller wasn’t an idiot and listed the description as detailed and specific as he did, she might not have been able to do anything. But because he seriously effed up by saying all that she can file a claim as “item not as described” and win.

This is considered false advertising. You can get the items ‘legitimised’ by seeing when they were made, therefore proving they are in fact NOT from the 90’s. A bad review and a refund would definitely be warranted after that!

There is no question about your course of action. File a dispute. Be salty. Leave negative feedback. Demand a refund. You spent almost $1000 for garbage. This person will continue to do this. He/she must be reported. Do not feel guilty. Just do it.

That's a Betsy Wetsy doll and they made a number of versions of that doll from 1934-1980. You can give it water and then it pees and you change it's diaper and some also cried tears. My mom had one in the 50s which she kept and has been handed down thru my siblings and now our kids.
The fact that there was dust, mold, bugs and doo doo is what made it even worse. It’s disgusting that there are scammers of that level out there.

This looks to me like someone knew Bunny was looking to buy a 90’s box, so they posted with an outrageous price and high promises because they knew she would purchase it. Especially because they used terms like “treasure trove” and put dolls and a hair dryer in the box. Girl. They were waiting for you. You got ripped off.

But the condition everything is in is unacceptable, and there's a lot of non 90s stuff mixed in too. The worth of all of this was probably closer to $9.50! I have a feeling this box was directly targeted at you. The fact that this box suddenly popped up after you made it known that you are looking for a 90s box and the fact it's so expensive; no one but a youtuber would spend so much on something like this (I would think so anyway), that and they probably saw that you already spent a large amount for one before, they probably thought you would be willing to do so again.
The number of old dolls and the hairdryer really makes me think this could be true.
I do hope you consider leaving a negative review at least, to warn the future customers.

You can't! It's a mystery box and they can send you whatever. You're actually supposed to always know what you buy so in a way mystery boxes aren't allowed in ebay
There was mold in the box which is a health violation. I think she file a claim for the mold, but not for the unrelated contents in the box.
