In cinema history, this film would serve as the closing curtain for "film noir". This gem has the cast, the plot, the hubris, the deceit, and the "City by the Bay". Nice to visit my hometown....Telegraph Hill....Chinatown....and the Embarcadero and Washington....thank you for archiving and posting.

Probably took much longer and more expensive then. Flying there every weekend wouldn't be a huge deal in 2023, but in 1950: pretty rare! 32:24 "Give it to 'im Roy....the money, the money!" 1:03:30 "Trains always tire me"...so she takes the train: 19 hours with current schedule...every weekend?!
