This is great thanks! My only question is how do you manage draft pick trading throughout the year? Say someone took Jefferson first round, but they traded their first round pick for next year. Does that negate them from keeping Jefferson? Or how do you chose which round your keepers are set in?
Thanks! This vid was helpful. We just finished our first season with Sleeper, and were switching from redraft to keeper. It seems keeper doesn't have some of the settings that other apps have. I think I can manage manually inputting everyone's keeps. Do you limit the amount of seasons a manager can keep a player? If, so how do you track that?
So in our league we do not set a limit but many leagues do have like a 3 year cap. Using a Google Spreadsheet would be a great way to keep track of that or I believe you can check in sleeper by clicking a players profile and see there transaction history (when they were drafted)
Question. I assume the keeper picks have to be someone that is actively on their roster and not someone they picked up on the offseason. (I don’t mean like personal league rules regarding it. I mean the app sleeper itself.) or could I just manually set up who their keeper is and it will lock. The reason why I ask this is because In my main league we just swapped it over to a keeper league but with an added bonus and twist: you can only keep rookie players for an additional 2 years and to determine who gets what rookie is dependent on if the rookie was drafted AND what your final seeding is after playoffs are over. You can then pick a rookie off of anyone’s team that drafted a rookie. All depends on your final standing. I then will do a small 2 round rookie draft so everyone picks their keeper one at a time and then finally I’ll add them to their roster to be their keeper if that’s all I have to do for sleeper. I’d I don’t need to. Then I’ll manually put in which rd they will be drafted in. Additional context it’s a rookie keeper with both off and def players. If you got any questions please ask me.
The one and only thing I hate about keeper is they don't have a "Head to Head" option for end of the year tiebreakers which totally sucks. Great every other way though. Not sure why they just don't add that common option. Most if not all other leagues have it.
So what I do is make a master template and then keep making copies of that draft anytime I want to do a mock. That way the template is always setup correctly.
@@thecoachandcommish-fantasy7779 This is what I want to do but every time I make a copy and then "resume" that draft it completes the draft and I can't use the template anymore... Are there more specific steps to create a template?
@@bdegrace1717 - I discovered a work-around. If you "Create a Copy" using the mobile app on your phone (or tablet?) then it _actually_ makes a copy. The button on the web version doesn't seem to do anything except take you to your list of mock drafts.
The first 2 rounds is the easiest for sure, in our league we like the idea of getting values for each keeper so we need them to be in specific rounds based on where they were drafted originally
Yeah that's generally how people do it.... I'd recommend having someone at the LIVE draft who can input them as they go but its pretty straightforward to add them after the fact
Sleeper is awesome. Thanks for tutorial. The only thing that is stopping from being A+ is that you cannot MIRROR your actual draft order (esp when draft pick trades are allowed in certain leagues). Anyway we can get sleeper to add that feature into mock drafts?
A whole keeper league rules and settings video. Different keeper league configurations. I’m going to be starting a keeper league next year and it will be my first league that I am commissioning and I want it to be fun and not too complicated for the other guys since we will all be new to keeper leagues
Yeah people do it all the time. I recommend making that decision a year in advance so that people can draft know they will be keeping players next year. And there are many different ways you can keep players at certain values, if that’s something your interested in hearing more about let me know and I’ll try to make a video on it
@@LilDaGreat Depends how you want to set it up but one of the most simple ways is to have teams select their keepers (usually 2) and then draft the remaining players as normal with the keepers already on everyone’s roster to start the draft
If someones keeper gets hurt and it’s a set keeper and it reaches the deadline date, can you change out the keepers on the app then or is it just locked up?
Thank you for doing this for Keeper Leagues on Sleeper 👏🏼

Hey guys.
How many minutes before the draft, do i know my spot in a random draftorder on sleepers app?

Do you have to set keepers manually each time you mock
THANK YOU. I just downloaded Slweper.
Awesome! How are you liking it??
Is it possible to sync my league settings?
Please show how to save a draft with only Keepers so I don't hav to reenter them every time I mock.
What if we trade draft picks us there a way to mock that
Yeah your commish should be able to make that trade reflect in the draft board
@@thecoachandcommish-fantasy7779 How? How can you allocate a draft pick from one team to a different one? Cant seem to find it
Thank you 🙏🏾 this really help me out!!!

Same thing for me , I can “create a copy” but seem like I can only use it once

Does the commish need to put keepers on the draftboard before the draft?
Yes if you want them to be in specific rounds for sure
It would be the same process as I did in the mock
Raise your hand if you played on Fleaflicker!
Why do you select your keepers to different rounds? Why not just put the keepers in round 1 &2?

If you have a live draft how would you input for the whole league. New to sleeper app

I believe the Commish has the power to make that change even after they lock
