This time won't blame myself it's been long time coming been a long time coming
This time I know you well its been a long time coming been a long time coming
Follow me they're gonna follow 'cause I'm on the inside and they're on outside waiting
This time I know myself it's been a long time coming been a long time coming
Don't worry
You don't have to bear your soul about it
Go away, you can't stay, you got no more reasons left to come my way
Go away, you can't stay, you got no more reasons left to come my way
Brain
Robot wang
Gonna slang through the tang
I-8764
The sex assistant
I-8764
It's no commitment
She said
Drink that love don't demand it
'Cause baby I can't stand it
When you look so pathetic
But I can't stop with the rhythm of it
Drink that love
It's like a habit
Feeling like a savage
You know I gotta have it
I, I gotta have it all
I wish I didn't miss this
ah ah I gotta have it all
They call me hedonistic
Can't stop with the rhythmn gotta have it all
I make them kiss they sistas
ah ah I gotta have it all
He flips his black ass robot hair
You're on another planet
If you're ever feeling down or miserable, just remember that you were fortunate enough to exist at the same time as Dance Gavin Dance.

Good comment
I feel better knowing I was around for Johnny and Kurt
Truuuuuuuue
Love this
Flute intro hits different now... RIP Tim, best wishes to DGD, and sympathies to the Feericks.
I found this song completely by accident
Best accident ever
Sammeee
Accident prone area
Same here.
*best accident ever* doggo teacher can't relate crashing at the end of video
I too am the best accident
These bass tones are a big part of my boping action. We will all miss you dearly Tim. Keep chording in our memories and beyond. And to the band. This amazing community stands strong with you.

Didn't put those for obvious reasons
thank you
Taylor Law Thug City High at 1:36!
how is 1:37 a Rhino Pico De Gallo reference?
Will swan's gf killing it with the flute in the beginning
really? who is his gf? trynna lurk
Sheila Sowl find her on his IG,he put a vid of her in the studio a while back talking about this record, probably this song
i wish i was will swans gf.. (ima guy)
ill play his flute anytime no homo
Then you have that one part where they're all just boogieing, and the flute is on beat with that guitar and the drums....pure cocaine.
Can we talk about how Jessica's flute melody is absolute *perfection* to this song's sense of musical diversity
awh come on more people gotta agree with this
Is this the most danceable song DGD have ever done? I'm literally finding it impossible not to dance to.
Hyperion004 it's got that disco vibe
''Tis very groovy!!!!
The part that gets me is. Drink. From. Love. Don't. Demand. It. I can't not dance.
Don't Tell Dave
"Care"
is pretty dance friendly
...This might end up being my new favorite DGD album.
Carter Richerodt Same!
Carter Richerodt every release has been amazing so far
they just keep getting better!!!
zacattackd0321 I agree completely but something about the instrumentation on DBM2 make it my favorite album of theirs. We'll find out for sure next week, but this will at least take over Happiness for number 2.
carter- dbm2 is my favorite just for that reason!! i feel like this song reminds me of something that would be on happiness. i cannot wait for this album
this band can do no wrong
agreed
agreed x2
agreed x3
agreed 4x
agreed x5
Mothership continues to be favorite DGD album. It has no right to go as hard as it does and I love every part of it
mothership pfp gang
This will be there best album. EVERY song released has been killer. Cannot wait.
Then Afterburn dropped
@@nightowlkid i like afterburner but it feels too structured to me. It's missing some of the "randomness" the songs from their previous albums have which I love.
Son of Robot hands down is the goat
Their*
it's basically just the sequel to DBM 2 but with the current line up tho
"AY MCROBOT. MCROBOT I'M TALKIN' TO YOU."
"Yeah Biff?"
"WHERE'D YOU GET THAT HUMAN HAIR YOU BUTTHEAD."
lole
Perfect.
مسلسلات خليجي
what's wrong mcrobot??!! Chicken!!
كليبر مان Abdi
Jjjj
can i wake up to that intro playing every morning
Hoodie Weather yeah, set it as your alarm.
The answer is yes, very yes.
Christian Gonzales there's a problem tho... if you set something you like as an alarm you'll eventually hate it
@WolfTrail2 nah my alarm is 12 hours, 360 miles and I still don't hate it lol years later
Hoodie Weather I love it. Reminds me of Red Hands by The Dear Hunter
Rest in peace, Tim. You'll be greatly missed. 😢
Could you tell me context about Tim?
He died?
@@heyeduvlogs Apparently, he died from a fentanyl overdose in April.
"The Robot With Human Hair" definitely should become a cartoon. It's too good!
BRNardy it’s a comic book I guess
@@ShannonsCompany That's enough to fullfill my long time dream. Can't wait to read it!
I’d pay to see it!
Whoever does DGD's artwork needs to make a movie or a videogame or some shit. Now.
Donald Foss Mattias adolffson does the art but not the videos
James Howe does the videos yo
John Howe, he's always on the comments. And yeah, they should!! with DGD soundtrack
Hi :)
@John Howe Congrats on one more brilliant video, man! looking forward for the sequel of the robot running from "god" of the beginning.
This sealed the deal for me. Just preordered the album and I am READY. Tilian is a blessing to this world forreals
SuperButterBuns love your channel!
inomgomgomsojomgomgomg butter bunnnssssss
nice to know buns has good taste in music too
SuperButterBuns ily
Jonny Craig is a blessing to the world. No jonny, no dgd
Anyone wanting to start a band up should take note at how these guys mix each others style into a song. They each have something to bring to this band as musicians. Its absolutely amazing. DBM and DBM2 will still be my all time fav because of Craig's soulful vocals but Tillian is doing a great job. Im always excited to hear more from this band :D
Bruhh surprising ethan.glen
Tillian Falsetto makes me weep
I listened to this band for almost three years straight, from 2016-2019. I haven't listened to it in a bit and I found some nostalgic songs, mostly Young Robot. I think I'll always come back to this band and that makes me happy.
Same
I first heard them in 2012 when I was 15 and was mostly a craig fan then in 2015 the girl I've been with since then really liked them and I fell in love even harder and it took a while for tillian to grow on me but I discovered happiness and it was just a great time. Death of the robot makes me cry.
I hear a big Happiness meets Instant Gratification vibe
this ^
Don't compare Kurt to Tillian 😂😭
Honestly yeah Kurt would have sounded good but Tilian's vocals are just more catchy so it fits the song better. I can also imagine Justin Timberlake on the vocals for this jam. Tilians poppy voice makes the song even more bouncy and groovy. Kurt would sound good but not perfect imo.
Sasuke Uchiha not really. tilian is good but the filtered voice editing just takes the feeling out of some songs :/ Kurt always brought that real feeling
Except Kurt isn't the greatest live. But that's not why I love Kurt.
Dance Gavin Dance has been great all these years and the constant switch makes them so much better! Been a fan for 7 years!
Up3r W00D3N TABL3 What do you mean?
Up3r W00D3N TABL3 I see. This band comes up with great videos all the time Their music is always changing in an amazing way!
i just became a fan
hadesoil Congrats! :)
for real dude lol. saw this video in the recommended on its release and I fell in love with it
There are so many references to their old songs
"Thug City Highschool"
"J.H Macy Manure"
The time travel device from Stroke God, Millionaire.
The "time travel duck" from Stroke God, Millionaire is on the left as a diagram.
The deathstar from the Self Titled album is a poster on the wall.
The calender day is on "October 7th" which is the day the album gets released.
I believe the Tirangle BM is supposed to be "Downtown Battle Mountain" but that's a stretch. There is a commercial company called "Downtown Triangle"
The "8" and "12" on the gators shirt means "August 21st", the day the band was formed.
Will Swan sitting on the toilet is from Stroke God, Millionaire.
This one is a stretch, but the sign that says "The singularity is coming" could be a reference to the robot v. animal war that is fought sometime after this, the robot with human hair is what fights in it. He also fights his teacher, the dog.
And the side of the car says DGD on it. As well as the lisence plate saying "Outtatime"
Phikicheli The car is A DeLorean the "DGD" is a reference to "DMC" meaning DeLorean Motor Company, I'm pretty sure it's the car from back to the future
Phikicheli I know you commented a year ago but I saw this and was also noticing the car
I always thought Jesus h. Macy was a reference to the actor William h. Macy from shameless lol.
jon mess said specifically that a lot of the future stuff in acceptance speech was inspired by him learning about the singularity. a theory/prediction that ai will become so advance so fast that humans will be made obsolete and will be outnumbered by ai or something like that. so i think that wasn't a stretch at all
Somebody's a stan
Every song of theirs is like an adventure in an unexplored planet and I freaking love it.
This band ruined music for me, now I can't enjoy anything but DGD
Dani Rizki same haha
man, I feel you on that. no band out there compares to DGD, to me.
mocos47253 What about Hail The Sun, Stolas, The Fall of Troy, I The Mighty, Adventurer, ALLB, Secret Band, and other God-tier bands? Lol
Sianvar, Amarionette, ALLB, Secret Band.. They're all amazing... But... They just aren't Dance Gavin Dance. I love those bands a lot. I mean a lot. I am one to get to UA-cam as soon as I know they have new songs out, but when DGD has a new song out, it's indescribable. Its like you're living the items in your bucket list all at once 😍😍😍
MrDeadlySmile opinions are great aren't they
every album keeps getting better. this band never EVER disappoints.
It's been a long time coming... This the song that got me hooked on DGD.
I feel bad that you missed the Downtown Battle Mountain era, that album and DBM2 are peak DGD and general musical perfection
@@renopwnsgaming6292 don't feel bad I've hear all of their music including both of those albums
I'm glad this song is what got me into DGD. My sister used to like this band around 2006-2007 and used to blast the shit out of DBM. I was kinda curious what happened to them and this was the first thing I clicked on. Then this became one of my favorite bands.
Samuel Blenke 💪🏼😑
Ivan Arana you arent. A lot of people consider DBM betrer than this. This is still really good though. Theres no such thing as a bad DGD album
Jake Morse ig is bad and made by dgd
ur lit
a subjective opinion. Personally, I dont have the ability to skip a single dgd song on any album
Next: The Revival of the Robot with Human Hair.
Hope so!
Young Robot pt 2
The human with a robot heart pt 1
Heyyyyy that would be pretty cool
No sequel on iTunes
anybody else catch the little references to old songs/albums in the background?
NiqueyLovesIt thug city high, DBM..
They are driving a delorean
J H Macy Manure.
Pico de gallo at 1:37
ST in the classroom
Rip Tim absolute legend
What the fuck he died??
my friend who passed away showed me this song ❤️ i’ll forever think of him when i listen. rest in paradise my friend😭
I love how ALL of your songs sound different from one another and how you guys can make it so fresh every album.
Will posted a picture on his Instagram I had to jump on this asap
usukapal exactly why I'm here so early
that's what I did just now lol
I think we could all use a homey like the time traveling skeleton duck.
I wish I could dustoff socks
KamenRiderAnt homie would be nice right now, also Kamen rider decade and W are my favorite
Honestly tho
Weird how this is EXACTLY what I think everytime I Listen to this
Elder Goose is the homie we all need.
2 years for a story
Its worth it
Four years, technically. Death of the Robot with Human Hair takes place after Son of Robot, I believe.
@@BenoHourglass oh ok
Nah bruhh I d rather disgusting dip hydrocod
the youth of the "Robot with human hair" I'm glad they're still continuing the story and making more vids, nice job DGD
the funk is real,
I love Tillians influences in the new DGD, doesn't take away anything they've been bringing, only adds to it
I think I've watched these videos too many times this week alone. Yet still not enough. John Howe, you mad genius.
You can never watch this video too many times tho.
Drumax Cruz ^^^^^
I'm 29 and still listen to DGD. Always will!
literally cant listen to anything but this band now
Questions dim cronch
I gasped when I saw the Delorean. GREAT SCOTT!!!
😀😂😂😂 it's the flux compasator marty!!
That's heavy
It's the cow manure at the end for me 😂
Don't you just love those songs that you fall in love with the very first time you hear it? The animation style and story in this video is also amazing.
It's cool folk were already dead by imagination 😂or in another time line we don't even exist 😂love that shit not knowing how good we have it till its gone 💯
I really wish I could meet a chick who loved DGD as much a I did. They just don't exist. :(
Wrong. Hi.
MouldyCrayon hi x2
Um, don't know what you're talking about. Saw them back in November and still can't get over that performance. I love DGD
MouldyCrayon wrong lol
I see what you did there Mouldy. You sly devil!
Gotta love the references. DGD on the car logo at the start, a poster of battle mountain on the wall, Will Swan at 2:22 the same as in the Stroke God Millionaire video, the name of the school Thug City High, DBM on the banners outside, and JH Macy's manure at the end. Brilliant.
I was gonna say the same thing!! I love "Thug City High"
Pico de Gallo on the poster in the refectory
my favorite one
Battle Mountain to open the video
Just realised that there's the infinity logo from the album cover on a billboard at 2:54
I just discovered this band through suggestions and I'm not much for their music, but after watching the other two I'm in love with the Young Robot narrative.
PLEASE TO GOD PUT THIS ON SPOTIFY, PLEEEEEAAASSSSSEEEEEE
Gahhhh I've been checking SO MANY TIMES - im wanting to blast the funky riff at 2:00 soooo bad
GRIFF I literally keep checking o see if it's their!!! lol I think it'll be on Spotify by the end of today or if not the latest is Monday! That's what happened with betrayed by the game!
saimezors
GRIFF apple music man.. get with it!
I don't know anyone with apple music... XD what's the point when putting music on an iPhone illegally is so easy
DGD is proving to be a force to be reckoned with. Not that they weren't before, but I think this album will appeal to a huge audience since, just from the singles, the album has poppy DGD(Betrayed by the Game), technical DGD(Chucky vs. the Giant Tortoise), and now super groovy DGD. This album has songs for fans of every era of DGD it seems. I can't fucking wait.
One of the first songs I heard by these guys and I can't get it out of my head...its been 3 weeks.
Absolutely love the animation of the chase scene at the end: the focus jumping between vehicles, the bus passing through the shadow, the bus swerving from side to side, good stuff!
Yeah this is my favorite DGD album to date right now.. it's incredible!! Love it to bits! Been rocking this album since it came out, pretty much non-stop
Many people were upset with tree city sessions and allowing tillian to learn these older songs from different albums. This is why I'm grateful they made tree city. Undoubtedly, you guys can hear the Happiness influence. I think re-doing those older songs gave the band and tillian this new but old take on their music. This is delicious, and Tillian has continuously delivered as a frontman.
This feels like a Kurt song.
Kyle Partlow I'm not the only one!
Lord Oz If you replaced Tilian with him I would have thought this was from Happiness.
Kyle Partlow I feel like they probably got re-inspiration from doing the older stuff on Tree City Sessions; the band probably intentionally picked out some of those elements to bring back for this album
EXACTLY
Thanks bro
bruh listening to this for the first time, i didnt know whether to follow the lyrics or study the music video. Now I sit here years later and the lineage of the lore in their songs all coming full circle is fucking awesome.
REST IN PEACE TIM
DGD Always release a newest album in the darkest moments of my life... favorite band for life
Man I'm glad to be alive the same time DGD is
I think this is honestly going to be their best album...and I love the stuff that Jonny did with them VERY much...
Haven't listened to DGD in a long time, this is a pleasant surprise. One might even say it's been a long time comin, been a long time comin.
i love the serie of this videos
and wtf since tilian join dgd it changed so much to the best. one of my favorite bands all time!
Amazing new song, can't wait for the new album!
But let's also appreciate the amazing work of yet another GREAT video by John Howe!
3.00 min in...love that little breakdown and guitar riff....i just replay that bit....after i replay this whole album about 50 times a day
Always love the videos John Howe does, especially for DGD. All the little references to previous songs and albums, it's fun to try to spot them all.
Love Tillians voice in this song...its kind of different from his other stuff, style wise....so good!
Seriously sick art style. Love the animations, they always fit with whatever song it goes with.
I just cant get over how beautiful the flute on this track is. One of my all time favourite dgd songs
The Robot with Human Hair Pt.2 has always been my favorite. So great to see where they have come from and where they are now. Amazing
i legit cried when he gave him the core. its beautiful
I love how this music video and Son of Robot are connected. I watched Son of Robot so many times and I watched this and was screaming!
There are a few connected videos
these are some of the best DGD songs I've heard in a long time. I honestly don't even listen to this kind of music very much anymore but I'm very excited for this release!
This is the first song I listened to by DGD and it was weird, but I kept coming back to hear it again and again, they really have that unique quality and I love it! Keep on rocking DGD!
I love these animations so much. Plus this song is really good.
I really love that song, guys! And the animations are awesome.
Once again, there is almost everything you need in this song. Merci DGD. Bravo.
best I've heard yet. Kudos too the guitar player and john that stuck through it all
Personally, don't think I've ever found a band that could consistently deliver albums I love for as long as DGD have.
EVERY lineup has been amazing in its own way; the current one is definitely my favorite so far.
But I've got to say...
These animated music videos, even the lyric videos, are so fantastic.
This video is absolutely gorgeous, and (from what I see) was made by one fucking guy? Solo?
Jesus.
I can honestly say I see John Howe as a member of Dance Gavin Dance.
Hope their partnership never ends and we keep getting these videos for many years to come.
noone will ever make music like DGD, what a time to be alive.
This band has never made a horrible album even when they had Johnny and before
they never cease to amaze me
this just might be my new favorite album
and they have inspired my band that I'm creating
dance gavin dance is amazing just replaced volumes as my favorite band! I loved all the references and Easter eggs in this video, simply amazing music and video! I'm preordering this ish now
This is my first DGD album, and I've never heard anything like this before. Every song is phenomenal.
dragonforce991 Welcome aboard!
Sick track!!! Dgd is one of the few bands that managed to evolve while keeping the key elements that made them unique and FUCKING AWESOME
One of my favorites.. pretty hard to pick a favorite though because I love all their songs!
One of the very few bands that have gotten smoother (in production) over the years, without loosing it's original sound and still feeling fresh.
When you thought our friendly robot with human hair was gone
he was reborn.
Actually, this seems to be a prequel of some sorts. Also, the "Death of a Robot" was The Robot turning human.
The death of a robot, and the birth of man.
but the robot dies at the end of the video so he turns human to sacrifice himself... poor robot
+David Pottinger God dammit, now I want "Death of a Robot, Birth of a Man" to be a DGD song title.
This is a prequel, He just got the power core earlier I would assume because the duck from "Stroke God, Millionare" used the time machine to go back and give him the core since the duck already saw the robots death in the future.
This honestly is almost one of my favorite songs of all time, it's just too damn short. If only they extended it another minute with another chorus or another bridge or something, but it just ends so abruptly and I hate it because it's so addicting
So many Easter eggs from very old albums, songs, and music videos these videos are my favorite cause I love piecing all the parts together to make the story complete
Well this album has blown me away. New favorite album of all time I'd have to admit.
thx whoever sampled this for uno 4-5 yrs ago
so apparently how the robot with human hair obtained his human hair is from the time traveling skeleton from the "stroke god millionaire" music video
Yep! :)
John Howe whoa, you're the animator
tell us more secrets
Is Will Swan god?
^Yes, in fact he is.
Me and my mom would listen and watch these when I was like 8. These are so nostalgic
this is my first song of the band, awesome!! i love his voices!!
Only recently found out about DGD, but fuck, im addicted to them already.
Mason. Make sure to check out the old stuff, complete different but it's all amazing
So right
same lol so cool to have such a great namesake band
The intro is literally the best thing I've ever heard in my life.
My boyfriend got me into DGD and this is by far my favorite song. I always thank him bc DGD is amazing I cannot believe I never listened to them before 😭
not gonna lie this may be my new favorite DGD song. I can't stop listening to this son! it's Crack for the ears. oragsmicly impractical to listen to.
If I could go back and listen to this song for the first time I would in a heartbeat
gran canción! gran vídeo jajaja complementando su universo.
sigan así 👍
I had never listened to these guys but damn this is good. I've had it on repeat the past few days. Some serious pipes on the dude doing clean vocals
I find it pretty rare for a band to be so consistently creative. DGD is one of those rares even with the line up changes thats just like wow.
