Hello Alan, nice video and nice motorhome. We have the 2017 B 704 but with a Fiat base. After 20k km in 2 years including winter-touring with tons of snow we can say, that we are still very happy with our Hymer. As we were in the past with our two Hymer Caravans. Thanks god each can live to it's own and taste is different. Having made camping with a tent for years, our first Hymer Caravan , bought in 1991, was already a luxury. But we decided to go for quality and pay a little more...which paid off, as we were able to sell it even during difficult times for a very good price.... Same happend with our 2. Hymer several years later. Our current B Class was not free of faults, but to be honest, these were really minor problems and none had to do with the Hymer-Part of the product. Our prpblems related to the fridge, the MultiMedia Center and the Aircondition. All components are used with probably all other manufacturers. Our Hymer dealer took care, and we never missed a precious day of vacation. As we are also MB fans ( having had 10 of them so far without any problems ) we look forward to the new Hymer B Classes on MB base. Or maybe the next Motorhome will be a Niesmann & Bischoff in 2 - 3 years, if they will offer MB Sprinter base with 9gear Automatic by then.
I am sure it looks different in person but the cabinets look like the plastic cabinets we put in a barn that are designed to be washed with a hose for easy cleaning. Maybe it is the same, it is light material. That is a lot of crude oil used to make all of that plastic, since the price is way down on oil maybe the camper price will come down. I did not get the diner design idea, just did not understand it. Thanks for your time with the videos, even if I am not impressed with one you do show many that have neat things in them and it takes all tastes. Stay safe.
Hi Alan As you don’t normally show the front bedding in the down position - are there any like this one that you can still sit at the table once it’s down? If we got the boys to share there as you might recall we are a family of 4 looking with payload of 3500kg so I don’t have to upgrade my dutch BE D/L .cheers again Chris & Family
Normally one can sit at the table Chris in an integrated but not in a semi integrated. However there won't be much room and you might not have access to the whole table!
Promise to test ride some FOLDING RECUMBENT TRIKES like the HP Velotechnik Scorpion Plus, the ICE Adventure, the Catrike Dumont, the Greenspeed Magnum XL Trike, or the more affordable Spike 380. That garage area is perfect for storing three or four of these so the whole family can ride together. Recumbent Trikes exponentially enhance the RV experience. ICE Trikes is in Southern Cornwall.
Hi Alan thank you for your great reviews, I’m looking to order a BML 790 in the uk but struggling to get a price list for the van and extras do you know if Hymer have released these for the uk market?
That is a very nice motorhome indeed. That new Mercedes SLC chassis is a great basis for a motorhome I think. In the pics the interior looks not quite as nice as the Niesmann + Bischoff Arto which is my fave motorhome. However it is still very good.
Thats a beauty👌Unfortunately I've already bought my Mercedes van😩 Looking forward to hearing/seeing what your plans are for your van, will you be doing a video of bits your doing on yours? I'm definitely going to pinch some ideas off you👍😂
All that money and you dont even get an electric awning. Here is a golden rule, if they can't be bothered to match up the wood effect flooring on the hatches with the floor then they simply DONT CARE. So why should you.
Its dull lacks imagination, would expect 10 times more quality and luxury for the price, its badly laid out and badly thought out.People who came up with this brick on wheels clearly have never used a campervan for serious touring. Ridiculously overpriced and underwhelming.

The design of the cupboard and lockers between the beds reminds me of a cooker.
something about the beat of the song who's it from?
Pisco Sour by Gunnar Nielsen.
@@VanlifewithAlan excellent reviews Hymer 790 looking foward to you doing a road test
@@TheRasta4ri Maybe I will ask when I am near the Hymer production plant next!
One of the best New 2019 Hymer Motorhomes with plenty of great features
Should really link your websites in your video description.
I read somewhere not to do that but here you go : www.MotorhomeFullTime.com and facebook.com/motorhomefulltime/
He is not with hymer so not his websites.
If only Hymer were in America!!
They were, but they had to declare bankruptcy due to an embezzlement scandal.

I think they have Doris, but you put up your comment two years ago and I have only just seen it.

The Europeans always Have the best looking Rv
You obviously have not seen a Marathon Coach.
i just get a UK made one that not that one
Dare I say it, but I'm a little bored of these hymer b classes. Same same layout, just pricier interior aspects. Another hotel on wheels gimmick
