I reaaally appreciate that you focus on the materials when talking about clothes! I don’t feel like a lot of people do, and I share your love for natural fibres 😄
I want you to know I’m still using your skin care recommendations from that video! Every day a little self care that works. Always do these videos you have no idea how far reaching your sweet advice can be. I was going through a dark patch and just found that something simply laid out with an easy routine that I could do for me was everything. Thank you ❤
Oh my gosh Leanna 😭💕 Thank you so much for the update, I'm so so happy to hear that! 💖 Sending you big hugs, these sweet comments equally reach my lil rat heart :,) 💗
Im sure if you take that skirt to a tailor, i imagine theyd be able to adjust the skirt to be smaller (if you want it to fit higher up ofc) without taking out fabric, in the event you donate it later and someone else who wants a less snug fit can remove the seams :)
i love safiya and always watch her vids but when i saw your story that you had been featured, that's the fastest i've ever whipped out my phone to watch an upload. you and your content definitely deserve the recognition!!!
As soon as you showed that Alannah Hill skirt I gasped and thought I’d pick it up!! I’m so happy you did. I sometimes see Alannah hill in NZ and I snagged a silk camisole a couple weeks back
I love vintage/thrift shopping, but being quite lazy I do most of it from my chair. I remember being there in person actually touching the discovery provided a thrill. That beautiful skirt and silver mules makes me want to go back into "the field" to hunt for those special items. It was hysterical that on that M&Ms graphic top (jacket?) that someone could accurately give a date range based on the footwear of one of the M&Ms. Fashion history can be fun!😉
I literally am so in love with mine - I'm on my trip right now and brought a few pairs of silver earrings and am just swapping between them and basically sleep in them every night 😅💗
Never been to U-turn. But I do remember the time that they ordered like *20 massive storage boxes* from the retail store which I work, and I was called out the back to help package them all up 😂
11 AUD for a sandwich sounds pretty cheap for me 😅 Here in Norway its usually a lot more. Sorry that price just got stuck in my head haha. Do love a good thrifting video and that skirt is so cute indeed 🩷🩷😊
Alannah Hill started in 1997, was 70% made in Australia by 2003, and was 100% not made in Australia by 2013 when Alannah Hill left the brand. So I’d say it’s probably pretty y2k-adjacent 😊

Yeah I just saw it too and came to the comments wondering if anyone else noticed haha
Ahhh I have just seen this now 💀 Um apparently it isn't an issue regulation wise but thanks for letting me know 😭😅
Came to the comments to find someone who noticed 😂
You deserve way more followers, love your content
That skirt is so amazing.
Around the 4:30 mark, it's absolutely wild to see the Calgary Flames hockey jacket all the way in Australia, as a Calgarian.
I was surprised to see you in Safiya’s video but excited
Silk is also dry clean only, its not something you can toss in the wash. I tend to avoid it cause of effort but def pretty
Hello there, miss Lucy! I haven't been thrift shopping in ages, I wish I could still go.

The audio on this is too harsh for headphones. Gotta bounce.
