This was so helpful for one of my collage classes. I didn't understand it when the profferer did it but now it makes much more sense. Thank you so much!!!!
Hi thank you so much for the clear explanation! It was really helpful. But if you could really explain how IRS Calculate these tables? How they’re formed? Like how they calculate the allowance withholding?
You saved my day. I love your explanations!! Could have not done it without you!...Do you think you could show how to fill out the EDD Quarterly Contribution Return and Report of Wages? Thank you again for all that you do!!!
In Publication 15-T, I see Percentage Methods for Automated Payroll Systems & Manual Payroll systems separately. Could you please explain will there be any difference in tax calculation for these two kind of payroll sytems
hello, if you are still monitoring this channel, can you please create a video on how to change your allowances in 2020 or better yet 2021. I used to change my allowance every year as I was able to calculate how much tax needed to be withheld. However, it seems as if the IRS did away with the ability of having your employer change your allowances. Is there a way of doing this still? I appreciate any help you can give. I just saw your video today.
... just go outside to the corner and you can see a fraction of what your taxes pay for. Now imagine all the military equipment and weapons etc. now imagine all the grants and all the funds for our citizens. Everything around you, including all the businesses, is directly or indirectly funded by your taxes, and my taxes and your neighbors taxes. Quit complaining!
Ammazing tutorial! Thank you for the video! Plz advise whether Percentage Table varies after a certain period and if yes, from where latest Table can be followed!
Thank you for this tutorial, it was amazing. I watched three time, in order for me to understand thoroughly, however; I have a couple of question, what what kind of taxes are these. I am a little confuse, I work as a payroll clerk, I just started I don't have a lot of experience, but when I do the weekly pay deposit to the IRS and EDD. I deposit four amounts to the EDD. The IU, the ETT, the Disability Insurance and the PIT or withholding. Can you help me to figure out the State PIT, please? thank you
If a new employee started on a new pay period like a Tuesday at the end of the month (27, 28, 29, etc) and they have a week in a whole how would that work? Would they get paid in full on the 18th of the next month since they get paid weekly on every Tuesday?
Bullshit because claiming 0 dependents will result in your paycheck being taxed more. I claim myself that way I see a little more on my weekly check. I could care less about my tax refund being less.
Just keep making it more difficult to do work in this State for small businesses. I'm so frustrated dealing with the thief's of NY State Government. How many BS departments do you have to create to penalize people try to do better for themselves and start their own business. Simplify this crap, my business is not making money doing paperwork for the state yet I have to spend so much time dealing with the bureaucracy of the empire state!! I've been in the construction Business since 1997 and have do business in a bunch of different state but each year it gets worse and worse doing business in the state of NY.
Rick O'Shea, the only employee of Hunter Furniture Company, makes $31,200 per year and is paid once a month. For the month of July, his federal income taxes withheld are $190, state income taxes withheld are $38, social security tax is 6.2%, Medicare tax is 1.45%, State Unemployment Tax is 5.4%, and Federal Unemployment tax is 0.8%. What is Rick's net pay for July? Does anybody knows the answer?
I work at pizzahut i get paid biweekly. I work anywhere from. 2 to 9 hours every 2 weeks tonight i worked 30 minutes last week. 2.30 hours it was short i wish i made 700 biweekly. Id b lucky if i get 90.00 every 2 weeks
I am only saying this for feedback purposes, not to be mean, but you need a pop filter for the mic...I'm sure you may have gotten one since this video. But just in case

any way you can explain a 1099r form?
How much his net pay.I am lost.
Makes sense...thanks!
My company withheld state taxes from 6/25 til 7/29 in one check. Is this right? Can they do that?
so the more allowance the more taken out right
Thank you!
Karin - How is the $34.90, in the first example, determined?
It’s located on the table. IRS determines these amounts each year. Where do they get it? Who knows. lol
is it better to claim "0" than 1 or 2 on W4?
Bullshit because claiming 0 dependents will result in your paycheck being taxed more. I claim myself that way I see a little more on my weekly check. I could care less about my tax refund being less.
