Mutual fund deposits grew by an impressive 86%, insurance payments saw a significant 56% growth and trading grew by 62% in value in FY24. With this we have witnessed the rise of a new India.
Figures for 2023 reveal that Indians have increased their spending on dietitians by 125% in FY 2024, indicating a strong commitment to healthy eating habits. Health coaching also saw a 45% jump in transactions, showing a clear interest in fitness guidance. FY24 witnessed a growing trend towards preventive healthcare with sales of health products growing by 39%.
In 2023, the trend continues as Indians once again embrace their inner wanderlust and start traveling to their favorite destinations! The data revealed that payments for air travel increased by 2.4 times, while the cost of travel accommodation increased by 29% during the fiscal year.Indians indulged in cinematic experiences with a 42% increase in multiplex transactions.
