I think the biggest benefit is that it's relatively easy to bring and could be a really valuable tool if you don't have a sell signal and need to get a hold of someone. It's like having a satellite phone, but with the benefit of also having internet.
I live in Phoenix, AZ and I am starting my Overland adventures. Can you watch TV, Netflix, UA-cam TV without buffering? I am hoping for night time entertainment such as watching football games & sports. Thanks!
How are you powering this? I have a 100Ah lithium car battery I want to use, but don't know how long I'll be able to run it for. And would a 200w solar panel make enough to power it? I know very little of electricity.
You could run it for probably 10+ hours or so. Solar would help, but I dont know that you could just leave it plugged in all the time. I would unplug it when it’s not being used.
For $599 I would have a hard time with the unreliability and finicky sky coverage restraints, plus the huge size of the antenna for packing. For overlanding I’d probably prefer to get a cheaper Weboost system and my existing unlimited cell data plan.
I’m pretty sure the farther out you are from civilization the faster the speeds are, so these speeds would probably be the worst you’d ever see overlanding. I think.

Yes, I agree. assuming there arent trees blocking the signal.

You can, assuming there’s good enough connection. But it doesnt take much for it to stream. We used it a ton on the RV this summer.
Good review. 👍
thank you!
When you going to make more videos???
New video coming today or tomorrow!

It’s designed for places with no service, where your Weboost is worthless. For me, that’s most places I camp so the $599 is well justified
