that car play unit seems pointless to me if it doesnt play through the car speakers, better off just getting a normal double din conversion the other bits arent bad tho
Before doing anything else I feel like you need to do something about the rust... At least wire brush the underside and use some sort of rush prevention. Regarding the rust on the body work, I highly doubt its worth replacing the whole panel but you could at least touch it up with some paint

the apple car play thing is cool but at that point you might as well use ur phone. an actual head unit is so much better but fuck are the good ones expensive plus that thing can't be on the windshield as its an offense in uk

New tips look nice but i would’ve preferred the old ones but in carbon. Now it looks like a chrome tip with a thicc layer of carbon around it. Wich makes it look smaller in my opinion
i got the pumpkin unit after seeing ur video and that was great, and now im looking at a unit like this for my new car so glad u showed one, but is it a smooth boot up for the unit? when u get in the car do u need to fiddle with anything or does it turn itself on and onto carplay just from turning the car on? and does it autoconnect to your phone?

It does, I’ve got one on my fiesta u either connect it to an fm station it’s wireless or can just plug aux in but then there’s two wires
