This was awesome. I liked the various homes that the native people have made. I wouldn't go where there are no guard rails, as I'm not that brave. Cheers! 👍🏻👍🏻✌️🇨🇦
Oh man, those no guard rails at Guano Point had me freaking out. I kept checking on the kids and made them walk super close to me. LOL I think I drove them a little crazy but I just couldn't relax without any safety rails there. I felt more at ease on the Skywalk!
Man I haven't been to the Grand Canyon in ages.. It's good that you got a good tour guide! That sucks about not allowing a phone on skywalk.. at least the ones you bought looked great! Some great views on other parts of GC! Hoover Dam is a must just after Grand Canyon. Thanks for taking us!
Our tour guide was brilliant! You can rent a car and drive to the Grand Canyon for Vegas probably for a bit cheaper cost, but you'd miss out on all the great knowledge, tips, and tricks we learned from Ken!
Its been years since we went to the grand canyon.2018 we walked across the new bridge. Your turning into a desert rat🏜 looks like a fun trip for the family.😊
Ha ha - I do like the heat! We are hoping to take the kiddos somewhere a bit more tropical next time. My daughter's big life goal right now is to 'eat food while sitting in a pool'. LOL
Wow, That can add up fast for a large family. (hint) road trip hehe. Great video today enjoyed seeing the sights hope you all had a wonderful time. 👍 23 Have a Fun Week! 🔊 🎶 👋😀
We looked at driving ourselves, but the cost of renting a vehicle, buying park passes, trying to find the right roads and entrance points, etc, seemed like such a hassle and ultimately, I don't think we would have saved that much. Our breakfast and lunch meals were all included as well as everything else. I think it worked out in our favour! :)
Hi there, amazing views and family time for you and your family, dont think i would want to get to close to the edge and add to the deaths either, no never been so thanks for the vid cheers nigel
The no handrails bit really threw me off. For that many visitors coming and going, it surprised me that there were no safety features. But it's so lovely, I do still say you gotta go see it if you ever get the chance!
Thanks for sharing. Returning Support with Full view and Like.. I've been to the Grand Canyon a couple of times, did a little short hiking.. Hope you can get over your fears, you miss so much lol.. Hoover dam was so cool when me and my daughter was there, just only got to spend a short amount of time..
I guess I'm not so scared that I wouldn't do any hikes or anything - I just saw people being so careless with how close they were to the edge. You hear a lot of stories lately about people falling, so naturally I'm going to be cautious. ;)
I believe we got back for a late dinner, around 6 pm. It was about a 12-hour trip in total. There was a bit of a drive out to the Grand Canyon itself, but we stopped for snacks and a restroom break both there and back, and Ken told us some awesome stories and facts as we went so I was never bored. I don’t remember the driving times exactly, but they made sure we stopped and got snacks and had a stretch both ways.
There are so many tours to choose from, and you have to pick which side you want to see, which outlooks, etc. I found it overwhelming too, but I was so happy with this particular tour. I hope I could you help you decide a little! Have fun!
It was terrifying! If one of the kids left my field of vision, I started panicking that they'd gone over the side. Thank goodness they are smart and didn't even get remotely close to the edge, but I tried to keep a hand on them on at all times.
That wasn’t the problem. This was done with a phone on its very last legs, one that had been dropped many times. I finally got a new one before we went to Barcelona! They are expensive and take time to save up for. 😂
It freaks me out. You pay a bunch of money to go look at something on your bucket list… and then you die. I’m just begging people to be smart and be careful!
Excellent vid Wrabbit 👌
Thank you sir! I actually have some free time now to make some videos! :) Happy summer to you!

I had great company with me on this trip. 😜
Great trip with spectacular views of the Grand Canyon.
It was everything I had imagined and more! :)
wow amazing view in grand canyon.. so interesting
The views are SPECTACULAR! I just wish people wouldn't get so close to the darn edge! LOL

@@DowntheWrabbitHole she could do that in a pool in vegas.🥵
Great video, I would love todo this one day
Fingers crossed that you get to. The video did NOT do the Grand Canyon justice - you really have to see it for yourself.
Looks like a great day overall. Thanks for sharing!
We had such a great day. I really do recommend that tour company.
so cool
Thank you! I have been waiting my whole life for that trip.

Great views, I hope to visit there soon. Thanks
Highly recommended! You have to see the Grand Canyon yourself to really understand how awe-inspiring it is. Video just can't capture that.

I went when I was a very small girl, but I do not remember any of it. Need to make it back some day.

Thanks so much for watching! :)
I love the Grand canyon
I do too now! I had to wait 43 years to see it, but I'm so glad I finally got to!
@@DowntheWrabbitHole That's a long wait!!
Beautiful video. Thank you! How long was the whole trip from leaving at 6am to being back in las vegas and how much of that time was spent on the bus?

This video is great, I found it a bit overwhelming to figure out all the options

I have never been to the Grand Cnayon. I can't believe they don't have safety railings there!

have to clean the front facing camera before recording

I honestly assumed more than 12 people a year died there. Seems like there are always deaths in the news from the canyon.
