This song is dreamy magic, elegantly and perfectly arranged/produced. and the singer looks like a character out of The Great Gatsby. Never heard any other radio hits from them but this one is timeless. Talk about creating a mood! Not sure why the audience feels a need to clap along to this song as if it it's "We Will Rock You" rather than chill out and just experience the sonic dreamscape but at least the singer never prompted them by bleating "Put your hands together Montreux!" lol....

love it so much, such a shame its a playback. Its not that super hard to reproduce live even for 1986, i think by the time DATs were already a thing, so tape errors wouldnt be much of a hassle. The song is basically a drum machine + pad + piano + sax + vox. Maybe it was contract issues with Montreux festival production.... hard to say...

In the mimed long version the pianist does 'sing' that line but here it's fairly clear that that line is actually being sung by Maloo who deliberately doesn't mime it. Doesn't really matter. It's their song anyway !
