Yes having a great crew is everything!! Seems as though We all have have been getting hit with the summer storms day of delays! Kudos to you getting back into the gym! Get a hotlogic, that way you will not have to look for a microwave. It will not make your food bag heavy since you are packing your food in baggies.

You sound a little burnt out love :(. I can’t imagine the stress of trying to get time off as a flight attendant. It’s my dream to be a flight attendant but everyone talks about the burn out and it worries me

The same thing happened with the weather here in Texas. It was hot and sunny this morning, and then out of nowhere it started pouring for about half an hour, but by noon it was as if nothing ever happened.
The delay reminds me of a system wide delay your airline had in 2016, My sister and my nephews were on a flight stranded in NJ they were going to Las Vegas...They got there two days later. It was bananas.
What island are you going to in Hawaii? If you go to O’ahu make sure you try the Rigo restaurant! Best Spanish/Italian restaurant ever!

I was traveling back from Orlando during the system wide outage. It was total madness and Orlando has mostly families traveling from Disney so that was fun 😟
Finally watching since I was on vacay! We definitely had a weather delay coming from DR. Almost had to land in another city to wait and refuel 😩

Does an extended duty day add to your paycheck hours? Or is that ground time caused by the delay not payed?
I believe it’s paid based on the per diem rate her airline has for ground time during trips, but I’m not entirely sure.
I think she does housekeeping on the side

I wish I had an answer for you lol. It was just a very terrible trip to work. Delays, reroutes and cancellations all day! Rough trip.
