In this video, I’ll show you how to quickly deploy your first free cluster on MongoDB Atlas, including how to set up user access, IP access, loading sample data, finding and using your connection string, and making your first query using the MongoDB Query API.

Thankyou ... It's helping so much ... 💚💛❤🙏
You're welcome!
how can i connect mongo db compass to atlas because i already have collection on my mongo db compass i want to export them to the mongo db atlas
You can use either mongodump/mongorestore or mongoexport/mongoimport to accomplish this. For more info and instructions see these docs: www.mongodb.com/docs/database-tools/
I have M10, Serverless and M2 only. No free tier.
You may already have an M0 (free tier) on another cluster in your Atlas project. You can create a new Project in Atlas. Each project gets 1 free M0.
Which ORM would be best to use for a Next.js project? Mongoose doesn’t look as clean as Prisma but Prisma is apparently slower unless I’m wrong.

For MongoDB: If you’re using MongoDB, Mongoose is a solid choice, but consider Prisma if you want a cleaner API and better TypeScript support.
For SQL Databases: Prisma is highly recommended for its clean syntax, type safety, and ease of use. TypeORM is also a good option if you need more flexibility with different databases.
Performance Considerations: If performance is a critical factor, consider running benchmarks with your specific use case. Sometimes, the perceived slowness can be mitigated with proper query optimization and indexing.
Hey! Both are great options. If you love TypeScript, go with Prisma as it's TypeScript by default. And Mongoose is tried and true. Can't go wrong either way.
I want to start using the free tier and when i reach the limit i want to start using serverless service, how can i do that , shouod i choose serverless option and then they start getting 0.10 dollar per 1 M reads , or start the M0 and then switch my cluster to be using severless option
I would first recommend that you check out the limitations of serverless instances to be sure it's a fit for your needs. Then start out with the M0 for your POC and switch to serverless when you're ready to launch 🚀
