Congrats to Drift Dad (or, uh, was it Mike? Mr.B?). My parents retired as soon as they could. That was about 10 years ago and they love it. The people who ask what you're going to do with your self seriously need some friends and a hobby.

You would have more weight on the axles and tires if you mounted the fuel cell more rearward in the car because it’s a moment. Plus mounted lower you’d have a lower CG.

I would say weld the firewall to the B-pillar, it will keep a lot of room in the back and keep smoke out of the cabin.
