We were there! They're so amazing! My two kids keep talking about them so we look for their videos and can't stop watching. I especially love their smiles and that energy. Keep it up!
KTSHS did it again! Brought smiles and warmth with them all the way from Japan. There are many good bands out there, but KTSHS has something special about them, an aura. A person cannot help but feel good watching this band perform. And they are HIGH SCHOOLS KIDS yet they are professional in sound quality. They have chops, young chops but they are outstanding musicians.
I heard some Disney workers didn't know about Tachibana and during the parade they were moved to tears from the band's performance. I was there myself and Tachibana was superb as always.
Under extremely difficult circumstances, unlike years past.....this was very well done. Thank you for taking chances at the end, the kids looked like they enjoyed themselves. I hope they got some prime time in both parks after practices, they deserved it. Thank you again.... domo arigatou.
i like the video showing some parade and band first before KT the awesome came, it make feels so different from the others, KT THE BEST OF ALL😍🥰❤💯👏 seeing KT all generation join together with all the alumni is moment in a lifetime for all, especially alumni from 2020 when pendemic cames, because that time is the hardest time for all student, but they can still make beautiful music, dance and choreography at that time, that is why this make my eyes tearing, i missed you all🥲, i will definetly rewatch all of Rose Parade video again and again even from Rose Parade 2018 i never get bored, hopefully in the future there are more event like this where KT all generation perform again, 2025 is the best new year in my life🎉🎊❤🥰😍, arigato gozaimasu minasan😍🥰❤👍👏

Tell them to waive the rule that only allows a band to participate every six years then they can come every year. That's the reason they participated in 2012, 2018 and 2025 with the parade being cancelled one year due to the pandemic.

I'm staying at the same hotel they are (don't ask where for their safety), and they have a number of support personnel that came with them plus American support members that speak Japanese. I met a number of them and they are pleasant and well organized. With such great support, it really contributes to their performances.
@reacpt9801 I did, and I told them they had many Americans that loved them. I also told them how I was inspired by Hatomi Kanamaru (the girl from 2018 who had the prosthetic leg). Whenever I find myself lacking, I think about her determination and hard work, and I know if she can do it without complaining, then so can I!
someone didn't watch the rose parade lol, tachibana has an unique style, what they do isn't any harder than what the rest of the bands in the parade both from the US and countries like Mexico and Canada did. Also, that's not even mentioning something like DCI where drum corps perform choreographies ten times harder than this. Take some time to watch Drum Corps International or Bands of America finals and you'll forget about this exceptionalist "muh americans lack discipline" speech.
@nekajuii The current and former coach of Tachibana were members of DCI but no other bands train as hard as this one. They train daily all year round anywhere from seven to 10 hours per day, seven days a week and only get a total of fifteen days off in their three years of high school career. Their dedication and hard working ethic is to be admired and commended.
@@LL-ii1dc A lot of band coaches around the world have been members of DCI drum corps, with the current tokyo tachibana shs band coach being an alumni of the Mandarins, it isn't whatever you're trying to make it out to be; being a member of a DCI drum corps doesn't equate you to the instructors that handle DCI and make it what it is, which, again, is much more demanding than /any/ high school marching band including tokyo tachibana. also, the green band practices around 30+ hours a week, not almost 50 which is the minimum of what you're implying lol, and that's still only a bit over 10 hours more than the average in US high schools of around 15-20 hours a week; the tokyo tachibana students are high school students first and foremost, while drum corps members live entirely for drum corps during rehearsal camp. and granted drum corps is a different activity from marching band, there's really no goal in comparing a DCI drum corps to the tokyo tachibana, the only goal here is to tackle the weeaboo narrative that "muh americans undisciplined. tachibana best ensemble in the world. hooah". No.

やらされてるんじゃなくて100％自分たちの意思で動くから表情も良いし集中力も半端ない、ほんとすごいと思います。
京都橘の生徒の前を歩き、後輩の演奏を見守る様に先導していた女性は、111期卒業生『めんたプー』こと『島柰央』さんですよね。
かつて、TV番組『笑ってこらえて』で取り上げられ、スネアドラムを叩いていた勇姿を思い出してしまいました。
OGとして後輩の指導をしている姿は、感慨深いものですね。

こんにちは。島コーチアメリカに渡りマーチングのバンドに入っていました。その頃はインスタでアメリカ生活やバンド演奏などもアップしてました。その後、日本に帰国して橘のコーチになる。今回、顧問がいないぶん、彼女は英語が堪能だと思います。さらに、脇でサポートしてる女性は２０１７年に卒業した元ドラムメジャーだと思います。彼女もカナダに留学していたから英語は堪能。橘のコーチなのかは私は知りません。
今回、横山コーチもいないので校長先生自らパレードで先頭歩いたり、ペットボトルを生徒に回したりと総責任者として頑張っていますね。

当初は１２月２９日でしたが、１２月３１日の大晦日に変更。例年のイブニングパレードではなく、デイパレードでの出場となります。
ディズニーパレードは、後追い厳禁とされています。以前後追いによって、出禁にされかけたことがある位に吹奏楽部にご迷惑をお掛けします。保護者の皆様も後追いされたいのを我慢して、定位置で応援を頂いております。
パレードの進行方向は未定です。当日にならないと分からないとのことでした。
練習会場やホテルに押しかけてプライバシー等を侵害する。
クラファンで制作しているTシャツを模作して着用。
今回はかなり頭を痛めておられるようです。
やはり３回目のディズニーマーチングは構成を変えてきたねだからそれこそ京都橘高校マーチングは変化と進化がマッチしていて楽しいよ😂❤❤❤
