Here are some mods that work heartbreaker sheath, frameworks, choking dynamic breakables, dynamic hands, but it’s a laggy and jaw physics stop time mjolnir key blade iron, peony, and threat the rest of these are on Nexus mods. I recommend that if you know what different way to get these from Nexus, just let me know, but I use my VR station.
When I was playing nomad I saw the mystic hands mod and downloaded it, but strangely when it loaded it would not let me select my characters to play the game, this is quite a bummer because I currently don’t have nexus mods. Don’t really know what to do.
When I try to use mystic hands or the pressure mod (the one that lets you detach limbs with your hands) my game immediately crashes. I ahve changed my game version using the app and I have checked on vr that’s it’s the correct version and it is so idk why but I will try turning it back to the old version then back to the new one
I figured it out I had installed the mods wrong and instead of copying them to the mods folder a copied them to a mod inside the folder breaking all the scripted mods
sry for being late but it’s because you have too many mods that take up too much space. Try deleting mods you don’t need and then restart your app and it’ll work
@@Erica2fineeeactually, it’s because of a spell mod for your hand. That’s why it happens. If you change your version to beta scripting, all the mods that never worked before would then work.
Ok boys i have some scripts mods for you. Number one. Ardement haki. Use the trigger button to make your hand black and more strong and can block swords and makrs daggers and swords cut thrugh rock. Sword slash spell. Use the trigger button than slash your arm to make a slash in the air making it hurt and damage enemies. Freiza supernova. Use the spell hold the trigger for bigger and bigger nova (if you make it to big when it hits the ground the explosion can crash your game) Mystic hands i dont think i need to explain that one but use the spell press the trigger and you have big hands
I crashed the game with mystic hands twice and I got it like a day or 2 ago. I’m not gonna say it’s the mods fault, it was just me screwing around. The first time I accidentally clipped myself inside of/ under a house in the market map and my game crashed. The second time I was experimenting at the spawn island by running around with mystic hands like you would in gorilla tag (with free climb Atleast it works great), and I think I threw myself into a wall and grabbed something at the same time with the hand and ended up getting sent deep beneath the ocean literal miles from the island, but I think I just restarted the level instead of crashing the game but I included it because I thought it was interesting
Im on a quest but still put it in scripting beta, I tired a mod called sword beam or something like that and it stops loading at 100% and doesn’t load me into the game, what do I do
This means you have a mod that's not compatible with nomad it's probably a old model that's like outdated and has glitches or one that's on PC VR just delete all your mods or find that one specific mod that's bad and then you should be good
I’m having trouble using a mod called “Heartbreaker” you probably know what it is, I turned it to 12.03 Scripting and imported it straight from Nexus on standalone, I imported it from Mobile VR Station but for some reason I can’t load my characters, it gets stuck at 100% making the game unplayable with Heartbreaker on.
i downloaded the sheath framework seperatley because its not on the in game browser and now when i load into the game when it loads mods it gets stuck at 25% on sheath framework. the game doesnt crash though because i can still move, it just doesnt move past 25%
Cool I should check this out see if it works because before when I would try to use a scripted mod when it says "loading player data" it just freezes at 100%
the mystic hands dont work for me. whenever i downloaded it and use it, i pressed play and then it was just satying at 100% saying loading player data (keep in mind i had the beta scripting version on) and now its not even downloading
I've had issues with the mod manager as well, I've downloaded Mystic Hands (port for Nomad) on mod.io and then used my PC to put the mod in my Quest (connected via a cable)
For some reason the quest 2 doesn’t show on my pc so I use side quest to get into the files and for some reason when I put the mod in it shows for a second inside the mods folder but then it disappears
For some reason, my mods won’t show up where you customise them you know in the book do you know why? they’re the right mods they work fine they just won’t let me customise them for some reason?
No clue tbh, I almost never play Nomad.. Have you tried uninstalling all your mods and then installing them back one by one to try to find if there's an issues with some of them ? I've only found people talking about mods that add a section into the book, that can break the book, but you'll probably have to google or ask others for more info ^^

I'd try removing every mod, maybe even doing a clean install of the game, try to start it, if it works, the problems was the mods ^^ Then you can one by one try installing your mods back and trying if the game works every time, once it stops working, you found the problematic mod :)

Hey so when I use my oculus app and change to scripting as soon as I load up the game and after selecting play where you also have the option to look at mods after a bit it just kicks me out and I have no idea what to do and when I convert back to the live actual version it downloads it’s just confusing me tbh
Did you let the game to download the Scripting Version ? Or did you just change it and started the game ? It is in Beta, so bugs and crashes are to be expected ^^ I'm not the best in Nomad, but I'll try to help out ^^
It might be, but once you download the Scripting update, your game shouldn't have any mods in it, I'd just probably try to change the version and restart the headset and look if it's downloading, if not, try to restart again ^^ Also Tools of The Trade isn't for Nomad and has not been ported yet, so this mod won't work either way

Hi I’ve commented on a ton of videos about this. So basically I downloaded some new mods that you can control in the mod menu in the book. But I went to the mod menu and nothing was there? It just said mod at the top and it was blank. Does anyone know why? How can I solve it?

I had the same issue, I've heard there are some problems with the ingame mod manager, so I downloded the mods on PC and put them via cable into the game folders in my Quest 2 ^^
oh if you guys cant downlode mods in scripted then you have to do it through pc or the live vesoin of the game and switch back i know this because i had to find that out myself
The clips where I'm on camera have been recorded in PCVR, the clothes and body armor are from the Ghetto's Firearms and the arms are Automail Combat Prosthesis ^^
What do you mean by 'can't select my character' ? I'd suggest that if you're using more mods, try deleting them and reinstalling only the Mystic Hands, see if that works, or you can reinstall the game and try to mod it again, or just reinstall Mystic Hands again and make sure that you've done everything right and have the correct version of everything
Every tutorial I see seems to be missing a step, I can go onto my laptop and change the version but that doesn't do anything when j then load up my oculus. I can't change the version through the store page on the oculus either. What am I doing wrong?
You have to be logged in with the same account on the website as you are in VR, once you switch the version on the website and go into VR (usually needs to be restarted), the update should start downloading on it's own (or try starting the game), after it's finished downloading and installing, you should be on the Scripting version
The modder of this mod has announced on Discord that right now, he is not going to be working on porting the mod to Nomad, but that may change after the release of B&S version 1.0 :)
What do you mean set up ? You just install it and it let's you open zipped files, or right click on them to use winrar as the opening software, I prefer 7zip tho' :)
Mod menu is a bit broken, you'll have to either install mods in other ways, or find a fix somewhere online, I haven't figured out a fix and since I don't play Nomad almost never, I'm not really trying to find one :D
You've probably made a mistake during the install, check if every version is correct, if you're installing the right folder into the correct folder, if you have Scripting Beta allowed and installed, and if you have any other mods installed that could conflict with the ones you're installing
I have a question. Does getting scripted mods require a pc or can you get it straight from the built in mod menu in nomad? Because I know how to turn on the scripting beta but I have no clue how to get the mods, I reaaally wanna play around with mystic hands and stuff. If anyone could tell me, i'd appreciate it.
I believe you should be able to find scripted mods in the in-game mod manager as well, no need for a pc :) (although I personally had issues with the in-game mod manager)
So glad im here the same thing happens to me i wound up erasing all my mods 😂 for the one of myatic hands goes all the way to 100 and nothing happens all the versions are correct i have no clue as to whats going on lol dunno
If you're downloading mods from the mod menu, you might run into some issues, because the mod menu is a bit broken at the moment ^^ When I was recording this video, I had to download the mods on mod.io and then put them into my Quest through my PC :)

It’s because of scripting If a mod uses scripts u need to turn on scripting version but I keep getting an error when changing versions

Scripting is built in since the 1.0 update, so just update your game to the latest version

It's a skill called Temporal Riposte, if you're playing Sandbox, you just need to disable it in the book -> sandbox -> skills

Have you installed the Ported version of the mod ? You can't install straight up Scripted mods into Nomad

Mod menu is a bit broken, you'll have to either install mods in other ways, or find a fix somewhere online, I haven't figured out a fix and since I don't play Nomad almost never, I'm not really trying to find one :D

You've probably made a mistake during the install, check if every version is correct, if you're installing the right folder into the correct folder, if you have Scripting Beta allowed and installed, and if you have any other mods installed that could conflict with the ones you're installing

I have a question. Does getting scripted mods require a pc or can you get it straight from the built in mod menu in nomad? Because I know how to turn on the scripting beta but I have no clue how to get the mods, I reaaally wanna play around with mystic hands and stuff. If anyone could tell me, i'd appreciate it.
I believe you should be able to find scripted mods in the in-game mod manager as well, no need for a pc :) (although I personally had issues with the in-game mod manager)

So glad im here the same thing happens to me i wound up erasing all my mods 😂 for the one of myatic hands goes all the way to 100 and nothing happens all the versions are correct i have no clue as to whats going on lol dunno
If you're downloading mods from the mod menu, you might run into some issues, because the mod menu is a bit broken at the moment ^^ When I was recording this video, I had to download the mods on mod.io and then put them into my Quest through my PC :)
