Love your river front and amazed at all the village accessories you've acquired. I also built a river front with my Dept. 56 New England village using a closet door mirror, which was an easy fix for a water front feeling, platform surface, and included a dam for the next level down. I use mirrors for a lake setting also. Love your creativity in the village train build, looks like great enjoyment in your home and an outstanding design. We are a little slow on our train build this year because hubby works for a Rail Road and feels he is taking his work home with him...funny so I am trying to help but he needs to supply the electricity. All of the pieces are from Department 56, mostly Dickens Village but some from the New England Village

We start construction in mid October, usually takes 3 weeks to complete, comes down the first week of January
