That feeling when Darius just finished an AA and his attack speed is so low he doesn't even hit you after the flash taunt 🤠🥳
Had to double-check whether he was running AS rune or not (he was), but at that level with no other additional sources of AS the margin for error was minimal - xPetu, to his own dismay, managed to time that perfectly. Not that it mattered in the end, but still.
Based on the recovery time I'd wager Darius might be running both Unflinching and Legend: Tenacity though, Legend wouldn't have gotten very far yet at this point and as xPetu mentioned he has no (visible) source of tenacity.

8:35 he autoattacked a minion before you taunted him, and with his slow attack speed he wasn't able to auto attack you in your taunt, sadge
I can't see any minion, screenshot and circle it. If anything, he hit the turret and that put his AA on cd.
@@wowandrss right, my bad. I assumed it was a minion but had no idea
this interaction happens to me a lot, i taunt flash the enemies under my turret => 0 turret hit on the enemy
if you W too quickly in the EQW combo, the attack doesn't hit you because of the W. So they do no damamge and don't draw aggro.
I think it's because of not enough damage to break the shield. Just like if the damage didn't break your shield, you can still recall.

I've tried a similar build. I suggest going demonic, sunfire and titanic then take overgrowth and grasp. The plan is to get as much HP as possible and scale as much HP into damage as possible. These 3 items will give you HP scaling as damage, and overgrowth + grasp will let you scale HP infinitely as long as you keep farming and fighting.
Frostfire mathic passive ends up being more valuable than sunfire
It‘s 750 total health with 4 legendary items

@@IronKurone It was really good, though like @ChromeGNJ mentioned, Frostfire might be better than Sunfire. It has slow utility and it gives more HP which lets demonic and titanic do more damage. xPetu should do tests with both options.
Update: frostfire is getting nerfed in 11.24, sunfire might be better.
sunfire is sadly shaping up to be season 12's triforce, pretty much every tank mythic, even the support ones, are more stat efficient. In my opinion, the issue is that it gives you tenacity, which isn't as valuable on tanks as it is on bruisers because the tanks can survive the longer periods of damage, and also gives the least hp per gold spent. Frostfire having an AOE onhit every 4 seconds also lets you take shorter trades without ALWAYS losing them, so tldr: RIP sunfire

Xpetu I have been testing the new cosmic drive on shen and I can tell you it's pretty good with all of that extra AP as well as the movement speed to keep up with enemy to hit your Q easier also the 30 haste is amazing

Frostfire gives health which equals more ap tho
@@Mr-Ling the maximum extra health it can gives is 400hp with 4 legendary and it 8 ap on demonic, not that much considering sunfire gives 50hp per legendary now its a 4ap difference :P but sunfire needs to stack before applying the burn whereas frostfire proc it every 4s
As a rule of thumb you only want to go Sunfire against very brawlery teams (juggernauts, divers, tanks etc) or if the enemy team has absurd amounts of cc. Especially since the changes, it takes a fair amount of uptime for your Sunfire bonus to outpace everything Frostfire offers you - especially since Sunfire gets much less "uptime" outside of teamfights.
Another important difference which isn't obvious if you're going for Demonic Embrace is that the slow field from Frostfire will apply the Demonic dot, which improves your waveclear - Frostfire already has better waveclear than Sunfire assuming you're not also fighting a champion, so Frostfire+Demonic can help you make up for not getting Titanic (at least not early).
Before the changes there were more situations where you'd want to build Sunfire - especially against enemy champions that want long trades and aren't very kiteable with the Frostfire slow, but the changes helped Frostfire get closer to Sunfire in damage and Sunfire get closer to Frostfire in tank stats.

hi, love you videos. what do you think about blade of the ruined king on shen? So something like divine sunderer, demonic embrace, BORK, rest tank items. should make together with shen's Q a hell lot of hp based burst damage. Maybe even go lethal tempo on that.

Hello Petu! I wanted to tip you off on the demonic embrace + titanic hydra + frostfire combo, hidden technology of insane ad, ap, burning, on-hit, wave clear, hp, tankiness etc. it boasts insane damage and scaling, as well as perfect synergy with shens kit - it is really fun and really powerful
