Now Open: Bois d'Arc Lake

Bois d’Arc Lake is now officially open. It's the first major reservoir built in Texas in three decades. The 26-square mile lake in Fannin County is owned and operated by the North Texas Municipal Water District. It will provide the water needed to serve a growing area population that is expected to almost double by 2050.
